Remarks

My 1st preference always for the government colleges..so I have been applied to all government colleges in maharashtra ..among them ..I allotted government collage of engineering and research avasari and this is my dream college because firstly it is government and 2nd thing is fees it provides better education in low cost . I got e&tc branch at 90.87 percentile of cet . Admission day was nice. All faculties and staff of all college were very cooperative and supportive . I am blessed to be a part of this collge .

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose E&tc branch as a second option my 1st preference is to computer science but unfortunately due to some points of cut off, I allotted E&tc Although my experience is good in having this branch. There are different faculties for theory and practicals and they are good and always ready to solve our doubts. Almost all facilities are PhD and btech, mtech holders . All are well qualified and their teaching method is so unique and different so that we can understand every concept easily. Exams are conducted from time to time

Internships Opportunities

3.5

One can apply for an internship from 1st year itself , according to their choice and experience. Different intership provide different stipend according to their tasks. There are intership like video editing, audio editing, video making graphics designer, related to coding and degree also

Placement Experience

4

One can apply for campus after 3rd or final year and internships are also there. Many companies visit our college like Tata . I think average package is around 3 or 4 lakh and the highest package is around 15 lakh.

Fees and Financial Aid

This is the college with the lowest fee structure for the open category around 25k and other castes have to pay fees less than that of 25k . If you are from the open category having less income than 8 lakh then you can also apply for ebc and we have to pay fees of around 17k only. You are also able to apply for panjabrao scholarship for hostel and many more scholarships are there you can apply according to the criteria in which you fit. Our college also provide internships and there are campus for placement

Campus Life

4.5

Campus of GCOEARA is the best campus . One can feel very positive around college building as it is very close to nature and perfect atmosphere for study . There are many clubs in our college one can join any club according to his/her choice. There is big library in which lots of books available. Study room is there in which we can do group study or read books . There are many clubs like NSS(national service scheme) , robotics club is there and many more in which our college I have been got many rewards and prices . There is also facility for preparation of competitive exams and clubs related to it.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel facility is very good . There are large and airy rooms . Gym facility is available for both girls and boys hotel . There are seperate facility for meal for both boys and girls . Quality of food is good . Cantin is there in collge campus . Registration process for hostel is provided by collge at college website and offical groups . Hostel is allotted according to merit . Private hostel are also there if one not get govt then one can apply for private hostel also .

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. CIA like case studies, presentations, and assignments encourage hands on learning. However, in some programs, there is a still heavier focus on the theory, so students must actively seek extra learning resources

Students become eligible for campus placements once they enter 3rd year of college. Some notable companies that visit the campus is nomura, walmart, amazon, nvidia and they take 5-6 candidates each while nomura takes 15-16 per year. The highest on campus is 43 lakhs while off campus is around 1.4cr. average package is 14-15 lpa mostly for swe roles. Percentage student getting placed is 50% oncampus and if we add off campus the number goes to 80%. I plan to work in the industry for 2-3 years and then try to go for masters.
