Nice College

I applied for Techno India, BC Roy & Haldia, I got admission to the best one i.e., Haldia institute of technology. Went through the Counselling process. Submitted the Counselling form. When The College was allotted then visit the College at the given time & confirm your seat.

This course is of my interest from the beginning only. There are proper amount of teachers for students to help them out with any problem in Academic life. Almost every teacher has completed a Ph.D. in their respective courses & they have a decent way of interacting with the students. The exams are always held on time, One should have to study in a good & proper way to get good marks

College provides the internship facilities in the 4th year i.e, 7 semester. If the student is willing to do then he can start internship from 3rd year also i.e, 5th Semester. If you are doing the internship by own, then you have to take NOC from the College and Submit it to the Company in which you want to do it.

From 4th year students are eligible for Campus Placement. Infosys and Wipro are mass recruiters of the students. They take Almost 50% of the Students for jobs. The highest package was 24 lacs & the average package is 5-6 lacs. Almost 65-75% of students got placed.

It costs Approx. Rs 84,000 for a year irrespective of the department. The fees are quite cheap in comparison to other B.Tech Colleges. Students can apply for the Scholarship Every year. The college has very good Campus Job Selection. Almost 65-75% of students get jobs every year.

During the Even semester every year, College Organises The Technical fest PRAYUKTI in the month of March. Haldia has the Biggest library among all the College of West Bengal, Almost all book is available here. Most of the Classroom is Air-conditioned & Smart Board in it. Sports and Co-curricular activities are held on a regular basis. There are various types of Social and Technical groups in the College.

The hostel Facility is also Decent. Big and clean room with attached Bathroom. Food quality is not very good but Ok and you can eat whatever you want to eat according to your budget. During Admission time you can apply for Hostel, It takes Rs 12000 for six months for living and 3000-4000 per month for food as per as you eat. The location of the Hostel is also good near Market area.
