Remarks

I only applied for amity btech biotechnology because that's what i wanted to do. 60% in class 10 and 12 and 60% in PCM\PCB for non sponsored category. Eligibility will be relaxed by 5% for the sponsored category. The aggregate percentage will be calculated on the basis of marks scored in English and three academic subjects. (Except vocational subjects/ other non-written subjects) Students should have passed all the subjects of class 12 from the recognized board. For the time being selection process is based on video responses to the questions posted through the VIDEO LINK available on the admission microsite.

Course Curriculum Overview

I always aspired to become a scientist one day and contribute to the field of research. Amity provides good lab courses and faculty members that indulge in teaching and practical learning. Each faculty member has specialization in their respective fields and a number of published papers along with ongoing research work. They share their experience while working so we avoid making too many mistakes and learn from each one of them.

Class Size: 48Course Fees: INR 313000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fee for a year being 3,13,000 makes it a total of nearly 12 lac for the entire duration of the course which is paid on a semester basis just before the said semester starts. Scholarships are offered to the students before the time of submission of the fee for the next semester considering the student's economic conditions and performance in class.

Campus Life

Since covid hit, i don't know about anything of extracurricular activity as these are closed but from pictures and what i have heard is good. other than that some fests were conducted online and a few of the competitions such as singing, posters, debate, and many more.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and keep up with the evolving trends of industry. It balance Theoretical and knowledge and practical application, helping students build a strong foundation in core subjects like programming mathematics and engineering fundamentals. The curriculum Includ Laboratory session Projects and tutorials that enhance understanding beyond the textbooks It also allows students to choose elective in later semester which adds flexibility and depth to learn. In terms of revevance, most subjects are designed to align with current industry requirements especially in field like computer science and electronics the inclusion of emerging technologies such as ai data science and web development makes it quite comprehensive. However a few areas could be improved such as integrating more industry based project and updating some older Syllabus to match modern tools and frameworks. Overall the curriculum is relevant ,comprehensive and career-oriented providing a solid base for both higher studies and professional development.

Unfiltered review and reality of My College

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.
