Remarks
The admission for MBA was an online process. I paid 1000 rupees. I wanted to get a job after the course and the fact that ICFAI had high placement percentage was what attracted me. The nominal fee also played a huge factor in my decision. I had graduated with 70% and had a valid CAT score. So I got shortlisted and was called in for GD/PI. The interview score decided my final admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
The MBA course duration is 2 years and spans over 4 semesters. The course helped me gain in depth knowledge of business and management. The course is focused on gaining practical knowledge. And it included group discussions, mock tests, interview and regular lectures. The faculties are highly qualified and are very helpful.
Placement Experience
100% students from my batch were placed during the campus recruitment. The highest package offered was 16 LPA and the average package offered was 5 LPA. Major recruiters include Wipro, Zomato, Google and Flipkart. I got placed at Wipro and the package offered was 6 LPA.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee that I paid for the course is 525000. This is a very nominal fee when compared to other institution. No scholarships are available at ICFAI for the MBA course. However the college does offer paid internships as part of the course. Also many government availed scholarships are available; students can apply to that with the approval from the department.
Campus Life
Our campus has all the modern amenities. The library is well stocked and has more than hundred thousand books. We are also provided with free Wi-Fi. We also have many student run societies and clubs. They conduct many cultural and sports events all around the year. I was the part of the dance team, and often participated in competitions.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are provided; I stayed with 1 other roommates. Rooms are usually of dual occupancy. A range of indoor games are available in the hostel. We also have a common room, gym and a swimming pool. The rooms are all well-furnished and have beds, cupboards and tables. The mess is also attached to the hostel. The food is hygienic and good.
