Remarks

It's one of the autonomous institute of government of Maharashtra. All the faculties are well educated. Placement is average. placement varies from branch to branch. Computer engineering, electrical engineering, electronics engineering have high placement while civil and mechanical have very less in campus placement opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview

Btech prgramme is provided for different courses like civil, mechanical, computer, electrical, electronics and communication, instrumentation etc . Student to faculty ratio is 60:1. Faculties are quite good . All are appointed thorough MPSC . Every end of semester exam is conducted. Difficulty is moderate.

Internships Opportunities

Campus ambassador program for IIT Bombay, TCS ion digital internship, are the popular internship among gcoej students . Different session and workshops were arranged for student for internship assistance.

Placement Experience

Campus placement is offered for every year. TCS, Adani powers, congnizant, Infosys are main recruiters. OFF campus placement drive is also arranged for students who don't get placement. Also training and placement assistance is provided for students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Every year fee structure get slightly changed . But normally for general it's lies between 80 k to 90 k per year. For OBC, SC, ST, NT are provided with scholarship scheme. Also for general ews, panjabaro dekshmukh nirvaah bhatta is also there for Eligible. Financial assistance is provided for economically weaker students.

Campus Life

Campus life of government Engineering jalgaon is very cheerful .Entire campus area is lost in grennary during rainy season. Every year annual day is celebrated. Cultural festival, freshers parties are celebrated. Different national level competition are held .Every year sports weeks is also there. Overall here is great chance for personality development.

Hostel Facilities

Meal quality is quite good. Indian thali is provided for both lunch and dinner.Hostel is allocated after admission is confirmed at college. One have to apply for hostel accommodation. Based on MHTCET score hostel accommodation is provided. Also those students who don't want accomodate in hostel they can take room on rent which cost about 1100rs to 1500rs.

Admission

Here is no group discussion or PI, Selection for any branch is based on MHTCET score. Also admission is given on the basis of JEE score but it has very limited seats thorought the all branches. Those have very good score in MHTCET can easily get admission here. Cutoff always lies between 120 to 140 for general category.

The faculty members are highly qualified, approachable, and always willing to help with academic or research projects.

Dislikes

The hostel mess food lacks variety and quality, which is a frequent concern among resident students.
The placement department needs improvement as more core internship and job opportunities could be provided for undergraduate finance and BMS students
There is a lack of student-accessible Wi-Fi facilities across the campus premises, which makes online research difficult during college hours.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies) course primarily due to its highly comprehensive coverage of core business aspects specially human resources. The curriculum is well-structured to offer a deep understanding of corporate administration and strategic management, which strongly influenced my decision to enroll. Regarding the examination structure, semester exams are conducted systematically every six months, with internal assessments, assignments, and class presentations spread across the term. The timing is generally manageable, and the difficulty level ranges from moderate to high, effectively testing a student's analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities rather than just memory recall.

College is Good

Likes

Infrastructure is just too good- Building is Fully Air Conditioned
Placement are really decent for a Commerce Graduate around 6-7 Lakhs per annum
Lots of student Associations are there to gain practical exposure.

Dislikes

Very Strict Attendance Policy of 75 Percent.
Rigid and Time Consuming Course Structure
Lot of Fests are there but they do not match the Vibe like North Indian Colleges Fests

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent around 6-7 LPA and almost 50% students get placed and the Highest package is Around 22LPA . Many MNCs visit the college such as McKinsey,Barclays, Goldman Sachs etc. • I am planning to get placed in a MNC.

the curriculum included both theoretical and practical subjects related to computer science ,which matches my interest in technology and career growth . The curriculum provided foundational knowledge ,practical assignments ,and project work that helped in understanding real word application More industry oriented training is suggested the exams were conducted after 6 months every semester some times the results are delayed by university

I loved the library and canteen of the college
College community is quite good no ragging is done
Faculties are strict but at the same time they are supportive as well

Dislikes

Small Campus not very interesting can be done on that place
Curriculum is as same as tier 3 colleges not very interesting and does not match to those of other colleges like VJTI
Placement cell is not very active they don't provide internship

Placement Experience:

After 4th year students are eligible for campus placement. Capgemini, wipro, accenture are the top companies visited here and the highest package offered was 30lpa. As of now the placement percentage is 80% and rest go for off campus. And even I'll try to go for Off campus

Likes

The professors at the college were always available for any doubt clearances or any other help
College also offered courses free of cost of latest technologies
The college supported students in taking part in any paper conference or hackathon

Dislikes

Conduction of technical events was comparatively less
The was alumni connection was not available through college
The infrastructure could be improved more

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements in the fourth year. There are good number of placement opportunities available through college but the placement package is less compared to other colleges. The placement cordinator is helpful.

"The Best college"

Likes

Faculty of College Is good. All Faculty of College is Well worsed.
Library of the College is Very Good. Having plenty of books. Each Volumes and edition are available to the library.
The Moot Court hall is well equipped. Having all the facilities and modern techniques as well.

Dislikes

The Infrastructure of boys Hostel Should be improved
There is no canteen in college. College can try to open canteen
Parking for Bikes should be improve. College having ample of space for car parking

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chooses this curriculum as I am intrested to do law. Many of students and other peoples praises the college as "Best College of Law" in Marathwada region. To be honest. Really it is best college. Which gives us best curriculum during our academic year. The curriculum of college teaches me how to become a good lawyer. The arguing skills etc. There should be no suggestions from my side just to imrove the course curriculum as it is overall good. The timings and scheduled are fixed by college and university. Generally the exam is in two shifts 10:00 to 1.00 and 2.00 to 5.00pm.

Some departments here were really great like ETC and Mechanical with a unique culture going on
AIML and AIDS being new branches here are still doing their job very well for the students

Dislikes

The Students section not really tends to help ,as i saw many financially weak students facing the problem of 1 time payment fees and their request for part payments option is always rejected
Infrastructure is decent but in summer season the water coolers are just useless there ,no cooler will give you cold water

Some courses were to the point like IOT was well designed and DSA too with java programming side by side ,still as i said AIML is new branch and needs much enhancements ,the areas where they can improve was always practicals and labs those were always taken casual as i remember

Wealthy and good campus

Likes

I like the cleanness of the collage and premise
Very good interaction with other peaceful campus
Another thing i like is the infrastructure good campus amenities and learning facilities

Dislikes

The lab management no sitting arrangement many of the water taps not working ect
The office faculty most of them are rude in behaviour
The parking arrangements not well yet and not allowing any of four wheeler inside the campus

I love pharmacy and i love to see me as an pharmacist i like this profession because i like to see the other pharmacists how they work how they wear the lab coat ect thats why i choose this and as soon i get to know that we can also start a business by having a pharmacy license
