Riyan Khan's Review On Raj Kumar Goel Institute Of Technology - [RKGIT], Ghaziabad

The College was exceptionally good in Mechanical as I had information in 2016, a lot of college seniors provided a positive feedback and hence I decided to go for it.Admission process is quite simple you just have to Take your UPSEE scorecard if you want to admit yourself through Management quota and you will get the admission. The other way round is through UPSEE counselling.The admission process starts in the month of June & July and continues till August.

The course I opted was Mechanical engineering, I had a preference or you can interest in the field so I opted for it.The faculty student ratio is 1:19. The Qualification of majority of faculty is Post graduation with prestigious institutes majorly IITs and most of the teachers have completed PhD as well and they are pretty good in teaching and their teaching methods are also good.The exams are 3 internal exams like 2 sessional test and 1 Pre University test and then the final University test. The internal exams are as per the curriculum and the difficulty level of Final university exams and i.e. moderate I would say.

The students are eligible to sit in placements from 7 semester onwards. A good number companies visit college like cognizant, vivo Mobile, Ericsson, wipro, aon etc. The companies make around 400-500 offers like 60-65% students will get placed. Rest some go for higher studies, some take off campus placements and rest depends. Highest package is around 12 Lpa (Business development Associate) and average is 3.5 lpa (Engineer). I started working from the 8th semester.

The fees structure is as per the university norms which is not much and no extra charges are there as its a private college so they don't charge heavily for anything.There is no such scholarships but the university has a scholarship programme students can participate in it. The College has a nice culture of rewarding students annually based on their performance which is really a good thing to motivate students.I got on campus jobs with a good package or I would say average package for a mechanical engineer i.e. 3.6 Lpa.

The annual fest is Kalrav and is generally conducted in the months of February or March. The library here at Rkgit is really big and it has a good number of books. The classrooms are non-ac but rest of the facilities are good, proper desks and benches and teaching equipment ex projectors etc. The College has a separate building for sports facilities, cricket, basketball, football and volleyball grounds are there. Indoor badminton court and gymnasium are add ons. Every department has a co curricular event conducting societies also there are curricular activity societies and extra curricular activities societies.
