To take admission in PU affiliated engineering colleges one has to register on JAC Chandigarh. After registering to fill in all the personal details person is required to submit their JEE MAIN result on which their rank is present. There is a quota for different caste and sports and others like a single parent, EWS etc. After so one has to choose their preference of college and their course and arrange them in order and save for the counselling. After counselling is done one gets clear about their seat confirmation according to their preferences. Once you got your preferred course and college one has to go report at the described college for documentation and other processes for completion of admission. This counselling is purely conducted on basis of your JEE MAIN rank and that rank decides your fate in your favourite college.

I choose this course because I always had that curiosity to know about software development and how this works. The faculty here is very supportive and encouraging. The avg student ratio here is 45-55. The overall faculty qualification is M.Tech in their prescribed field. And their teaching method is quite friendly and unique in their own way. The mid sem test is conducted every 2 months and one can easily pass the exams if they pay attention in class and revise everything taught in the class every day.

After 6 sem one is eligible to sit in a placement drive conducted by the University. And the eligibility to sit in the drive is that one shouldn't have any compartment till that sem. The like of airtel, Infosys and etc visit the college for intake and offers starts from 3.5lakh to 10 lakh depending upon the company. The average package offered is 3.5 lakh and highest is 11lakh. Almost 90% of the got placed last year in well renowned companies.

The overall cost of the course is around 3.5-4.5 and it very every year. And the fee is mentioned in every year released prospectus of the university. One can avail of the benefits of different scholarships mentioned in the prospectus and seats are reserved for the same.

Last year I witnessed a great event TECHNOVATION conducted in Jan 2020. The library is present on the main campus only and is a hub of all the books of the courses available on the campus and different authors of the same subjects are available. For extracurricular activities, different clubs and groups also exist. On basis of student interest, different clubs are there likes sports, literature, dance, singing, music, drama, coding and programming and much more.
