Remarks

I applied to JEE but Bits was the highest ranked college I could secure. No, I didn't have any Quota. Bitsat is the exam to take admission in Bits. Minimum for BE civil- 301. Also, you need to have 80% in PCM.

Course Curriculum Overview

Civil was the branch that gained my interest while looking into the work of a civil engineer. All the faculty members were highly qualified and were really helpful. You definitely need to study hard to secure good marks.

Internships Opportunities

I received 2 internships. One was a summer intern at Govt irrigation workshop Roorkee. Where I worked on a live project of costing and estimation. The second was with Nccbm Bhallabgarh. Where I worked on the project of Building Information Modelling.

Placement Experience

In the final year, the placement process starts. The finest of the companies visit the college. Also, the placement season is quite long you can definitely have a nice season. Around 95% of students get placed in the season. After getting an offer from a company I will look to work for them in future

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of Bits is quite expensive but one can get many scholarships. Such as Mcn which is considered according to your CG and family income. The placement process is very nice also you get to have 2 internships one of them is paid.

Campus Life

The campus life is brilliant. We have 2 yearly fests. Bosm and Oasis. Also, the library is just outstanding you can get everything you want in there. The sports culture of the college is also impressive.

Hostel Facilities

In the 1 year, you get a double room. After that, you have a choice whether you want a partner or not. In the room, you have a bed, cupboard, study table and a fan only. Also, the mess system is quite good. The hostels are quite affordable. No, you need to live inside the campus and can not rent a pg outside.

In our college the students are elgible to sit in campus placement from third year , there comes a lot of companies in our college which comes here for placement drive and some for providing internship .Some of the companies that comes in our college are L&T, Deloitte , Capegemini, Reliance , TCS , TCE, Wipro, Infosys, miniorange, Berger paints ,Amazon etc . The highest package from this college is of 44 LPA which was from CSE branch and given by Amazon and the average package ranges around 6.5 LPA for almost every branch . Every year almost 80 percent of students get placed around here and some of them leaves placement for further studies and also some took admission in many premier institutes for getting higher education.

From fourth year the students become eligible for campus placements And before that you have to go for outside placements by students himself only companies visited like Microsoft Zomato and all no Google and number of companies are not very good only mass recruiters are there like three L package tcs and old highest package is around 53 lakhs by Microsoft last year in 2023 and 4 academic year percentage of getting placements is like around you can say out of 100 4040 will get placement Every package is around 5 according to the chorus but I know it is around 3 lpa In reality I am pre paying for gate exam right now let us see what happened

I selected this college over other colleges due to its legacy, exposure and opportunities. The freedom to traverse through multiple domains and it's flexible academics. I had applied to almost all biotech, bio engineering related colleges to get into health sector domain. I did not get rejection from any of the colleges. The exposure given for finance and Entreprenurship in BITS Pilani is well over what an average engineering college might provide you . They offer a minor option using which one can sit in finance placements with companies like UBS Deutsche Bank , Jane Street and many more .The admission process for BITS includes the BITSAT exam which is an MCQ based exam . I chose BITS Pilani over other colleges due to its academic flexibilitym vibrant culture, zero reservation and merit based admission process. I had confirmed admissions from other colleges such as DTU but I opted for BITS primarily because of it Practice School program and the autonomy it offers in shaping your academic journey.
