Uiet kurukshetra why you should choose and why shouldn't.

I applied for HSTES counseling..after my JEE MAINS result came out. I didn't avail of any quota. In online counseling, the cutoff for CSE was around 93 percentile but in the physical round, the cutoff increased upto 1,40,000 rank. There were multiple rounds for physical as well as online counseling

Many of my knowns recommended me to pursue CSE from this college as CSE in UIET has better placements than any other branch Many companies like Wipro and TCS offer packages around 3 lakhs per annum. Mostly Teachers have Masters and Ph.D. in their respective branches..Exams toughness is of moderate level..but results come pretty late in this college.

People from uiet works in army, ISRO , BARC and Many PSU's because of their capabilities, uiet have no role in their placements. For CSE and ece , placements are there upto a certain extent. Nearly 50% because. Infosys and wipro are major recruiters nowadays. Average package: 3.5 LPA. For mechanical , its almost zero. And you only have to prepare for gate. For biotech, nearly 15% of people get placed in few startups. Average package: 3 LPA. CSE and ECE students Also try for off-campus.

There are scholarships available like Central Merit Scholarship, State Scholarships, Minority scholarship for economically weaker students.. The majority of the scholarships are for SC,ST,OBC students. Tuition fees for 1st-year BTECH students are around 75,000 rupees.

Life at UIET is enjoyable. There are many rumors and views about UIET which show it a low-level college. But it's really a good and decent college for doing whatever you want. And most importantly enjoyment. The college conducts several sports activities like football, cricket etc. Various Societies like SFI and ABVP for students. Excelsior, Ratnavali, and many other sports events are held every year

Hostel facility at University Institute of Engineering and Technology is good. In first year you have to share room with 2 students The fee is Rs 3000 per month. PGs are also available near the college. The food quality is good. Classrooms are good. But the labs are not properly maintained. Wifi is of good strength and i available 24/7.
