Remarks
I had ranked 16000 in Wbjee and alloted in Bankura Unnayani Institute Of Engineering. You can get CSE, ECE, IT below the rank of 10000..There is also direct admission available in the college..I have alloted in the TFW scheme.So i have to pay 25000 per semeseter..In direct admission your package should be vary between 2-4 lakh of 4 years. It is one of the reputed college in West Bengal. You can take admission in this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen this course not by choice by allocated seats..College faculty are very good and friends, no objection about that.. There are 60 students in 1st year.In 2nd years laterals take admission and then the competition begins. Exams are not very tough. Bt you can easily get good marks in internal exams.
Internships Opportunities
There are 2 training and internships are done in 3rd and 4th year. But not so many companies come here for hiring students.. I also don't know so many names of the companies that came here for hiring students. But some of the names in know are Genus Power Infrastructure Limited, Amdocs etc.
Placement Experience
60 percent of students get placed after graduation. But the palcements are not so good as the college authority told or we expect from them. Maximum package is 6 lakh anually.. But the passout seniors help a lot for placed you in a company.. If you are in touch with them then dont worry they will surely make chances for you to placed in a company. But i'm not interested in private sector job. After garduation i will try for central jobs. Thats my points of view.
Fees and Financial Aid
My fees structure is a total of 2 lakh of entire btech study..The fees structure of maximum student is 2lakh of 4years..But if you are economically weak then college authority consider some of your fee. But there should not be worry about fees because you will get atleast 60000 per year through SWAMI VIVEKANANDA MERIT CUM MEANS SCHOLARSHIP. If you are residence of West Bengal then you will also get 20000 per year through NSP scholarship. There are no issue with faculty members. They will guide you in each step to get this scholarships.. If you are thinking for a package of 8 lakh or 10 lakhs in the time of campusing then this college is not for you. You can get maximum package of 4 or 5 lakh in CSE, IT AND ECE.
Campus Life
Every year 1fest and 1 fresher are organized in the college campus and it's very famous. They are conducted in July and march. The classrooms are fully digital and modern. Each class has one or two projectors and a CCTV camera. The labs are modern and innovative. There is a big solar project in our college. Sports are presented in hostels. There are many social groups in Facebook named As BUIE and we also have the website WWW.BUIE.AC.IN
