Remarks

I had applied to 28-30 colleges. I am from the OBC category so I got admission from the OBC category. I had all the required documents for admission. The Admission process was such that first I took the college admissions form then I filled it. After that, I submitted the admission form along with the original documents and 5 Xerox. Then they scanned original documents. Then I paid the required fee.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I am interested in this course. Our college faculty is very systematic. Teachers teach us with great enthusiasm. Our college takes time to time term exams and our papers are good.

Class Size: 62Course Fees: INR 59042 per year

Internships Opportunities

My college doesn't offer internships on campus but they have a tie up with Internshala. Students can take internships as per their wish there throughout 4 years. There are internships of various companies from all fields. Students are asked to complete at least one internship in a 4- year programme.

Placement Experience

After the 5th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. HP, LT, Microsoft Pvt Ltd, TCS, Godrej, Reliance jio and many more companies visited. The average package is 3 lakhs per annum and the highest package is 6 lakhs per annum. 100% percent of students getting placements. After getting the degree I will do the job.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am from the OBC category so I got a 50% discount on fees. I am also eligible for mahadbt scholarship. So I filled mahadbt scholarship form. This scholarship is from the government. This scholarship gave 50% off for obc category.

Campus Life

Many festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi, Diwali, shiv Jayanti, Holi, 15 August, nakshatra are celebrated in our college. All kinds of games are played in our college. Our college has an NSS group and also there are a dance club, music club, sports club.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. A good college for engineering

I had a jee score of 78% and was selected in the third cap round. The admission process was easy. You have to collect the application form at the college. They helped everyone out with the forms and cleared the doubts. The fees varies from course to course obviously. Mine was 97000 for BE (Information Technology) including stationary and excluding transportation. There's reservation criteria for concession in fees.
