Remarks

I had applied for various colleges across Mumbai in the CAP process. I got my first preference of this college allotted so I took admission here. For admission to this college, one must clear MHT-CET or JEE main and score 50%+ in 12th. There are 50% seats reserved for the minority quota(Muslim minority).

Course Curriculum Overview

Artificial intelligence and data science had always been my favourite subject of interest and so I chose this course. There are different subject teachers for different classes. The faculty is good and well experienced. Term exams are held twice before each semester as directed by Mumbai University. They are usually of a moderate level of difficulty.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 98000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I have got no idea about it. College faculties work on some projects and students are allowed to assist them as an intern. They get a stipend as per the performance. The college has a tie up with Internshala through which students get internships as per their desires and requirements.

Placement Experience

The placement cell is improving. I can't say it's too good but they're trying their best to get every student placed. About 80%+ students get placed every year in huge companies like TCS, Wipro, etc. I won't be attending placement as I want to pursue further studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are comparatively low here for engineering. Since it comes under the University of Mumbai, one can avail state government scholarship for a 50% waiver scheme. If one has scored good in the entrance, they can apply for TFWS through the CAP process which waives off 100% of tuition fees.

Campus Life

I haven't visited the campus offline due to the COVID-19 crisis. Though online, sports day was conducted for online games like chess. Students are allowed to visit the library which has many books. Classrooms are huge and hence spacious. Laboratories are well equipped with the latest technologies and instruments. There are extracurricular activities held usually in the end of the year

YCCE College : My Experience

Placement Experience:

The placements are good in the YCCE college as compared to other colleges in Nagpur. From seventh semester the students are eligible for the campus reqruitments. The companies that offer placements in YCCE are Microsoft, TCS, Infosys, wipro, Persistent etc. The highest package is around 24 LPA and the average package is around 5 LPA. Around 70-80% students get placed every year in the college. My plans after getting the degree is to get a secure job and spent time with family.

college placements upto corona pendemic is very good but after that its affects our and other college palcements also but its better about 70% of student get placed . as per their performance in academics and skills . college bring very good package offer companies in first 6 to 8 months mostly and inbetween massrecuriter comes . and last 3 to 4 monts most of mass recuriter comes .

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college are pretty good considering the Fact that mostly its the Top 2000-3000 students from Maharashtra that make it to this college. The average Package offered in the college is Around 11LPA while the highest package last year was around 48LPA. The names of the Top companies that have recruited students from my college include Adobe, Amazon and Mastercard. The placement percentage from the past few years has been above 90%. My plans after getting the Degree is either to continue my Cricket Career as a Proffesional or to become a Commercial Pilot.

Honest review of rizvi college

The college i choose this over othe rcolleegs are many factors like good environment and campus rith great social life.
