Rizvi College of Engineering Mumbai Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

As this college is under mumbai university so this college cannot modify syallbus in their own the have to strictly follow the university prescribe syallbus,academic timelines,rules and norms of the mumbai university. I have taken the admission in this college in the year 2024 from this year the NEP-2020 was adopted by the every indian universities and instituites. Since NEP-2020 was adopted also by mumbai university some new subjects are added to the syallabus that are oriented to financial literacy,Entreprenuianl,indian laws related subjects the syallubus of this subject is very good to see in the syallabus pdf. But the ground reality is different this subject is not given much importance by faculties the are treated as not much important subject as their are not related to our course as a result the students also take these subjects lightly.Also the professors appointed for this subjects are not much good they appoint the faculties who are recent graduates of their college who are working now as a professor in the same college. The college treat this subject lectures as an practice for the fresh faculties to gain experience of how to teach students. The core subject syallbus is same not changed the mumbai university has just changed the name of the subject. The college professors just teach the subject but they do not teach in that way that it makes us ready for real world problems.And also in the first year all the subjects are common for all the branches of the engineering which consist of subject like physics,chemistry,mechanics,Basic electrical Electronics,Engineering Graphics. It is my opinion why should an student who is studying an course called Computer Engineering so why should i read the subjects of the other branches like civil,mechanical,electrical and electronics in my first year instead of my domain subjects for whole two semester and the timespan of almost an year

From 7 to 8 semester the student become eligible for placement And companies like TCS , CAPGEMINI,WIPRO,MAPRO ETC visited my college The highest package is about 13 lakh And the average package is about 4 to 5 lakhs And the percentage of placement is about 60 to 70% I will apply for better companies that can see my skills

The college has good placement offers and internships which helps students to get placed in good companies but sometimes they get less placement, the placement fro civil department has more numbers than any other department as the college owner is a builder , the college has higher placement jobs in it sector and technical sector too , the other non technical sector for placement are sales and marketing jobs which also offered in this college by the traning and placement team , the college has a department of training and placement.

They provide variety of placements regularly they post around 3 to 5 placement options in the college group. The starting package is around 3 - 5LPA. They also provide abroad campaign for the college students

There are some companies hiring from our college mostly are in field of sales and management but there are also core companies like technimont,Eker etc. where they hire one or two candidates and also some sales companies hiring frehsers.

The placements are offered in this college when you are in your final year of the academics companies approach to the college for placements and campus drive, the average package that most of the companies offered was around 3-4 LPA.

The students are eligible to be placed in the final year. However, they can be placed under companies through their course according to the skill set they have. There is no such year constraint for internships

I chose the course because I am an automotive enthusiast so to get good exposure I joined mechanical engineering. All the students and faculties were quite cooperative and helpful. All the faculties had completed their masters and few of them were Ph.D. scholars and well experienced. The terminal exams were quite simple as faculties used to take our weekly test in the class itself so we were prepared for every term exam by the time.

From the 3rd year of your course, you can sit in campus placements if your cgpa is maintained above 8. average package is 7lakhs per annum.well,, known companies visit the college every year. almost 60 percent of students got placed every year

The placement cell is improving. I can't say it's too good but they're trying their best to get every student placed. About 80%+ students get placed every year in huge companies like TCS, Wipro, etc. I won't be attending placement as I want to pursue further studies.
