Amity University - my honest review

I have always been academically good and wanted to join IIM but then i couldn't qualify it and at the same time i did not want to waste my year, so thats why i decided to do my MBA from Amity University. For admission, you must be a graduate and have a good percentile in CAT or MAT exams.

I wanted to be an entrepreneur and that's why I wanted to do Mba also Amity does provide support to students who have any start-up plans or any business ideas. The faculty of amity is so very good in terms of education, learning, and other aspects too.

I did my internship at HDFC LIFE and my stipend was Rs 5000. I got this internship opportunity through Amity only. After the 2nd semester, it is mandatory to do a summer internship for 2 months , so that students get to learn more about the professional world.

As far as campus placement is concerned, more than 300 companies visit our campus for the process of recruitment. Companies like CISCO, Microsoft, Google, intel, wipro etc visit our campus and they offer good packages as well.

Since I got 99% in MAT and i also had good academic background , they do provide me a little concession on my fee however they have sponsored and non sponsored admission. And i got admission in the non sponsored one and it cost me around Rs 3.5 lakh during the first year.

Every year amity conducts an annual, as well as a technology fest and students from all over India, were invited to be a part of this fest and showcase their talent. The campus life is great. It has libraries, different labs, cafeterias, etc. Also, many celebrities visit our campus for their movie promotion.

Hostels have both non Ac and Ac rooms. It depends upon you what you choose according to your budget. My room was very ventilated and spacious. It has a bed and almirah too. The mess of our hostel was also nice. They serve good food.

To be honest, I didn't face any group discussion however they conducted our personal interview. The students who have not appeared in CAT or MAT, first have to give AMITY WRITTEN TEST which is followed by an interview.
