Entrance Preview
In 2003, there is anna university engineering entrance exam. Scored 255 / 300. In my locality (Namakkal), I heard this is very good college and having good facility and experienced faculty. Thats why I have chosen this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
In this college, having very good lab facilities. They are having internship cell and good placement cell. Having very good library facilities. Internet access also free after college time. And they are having digital library as well.
Internships Opportunities
They are having internship cell. But I do not know much about it. I did not involve in this. For this, they allocated some faculty from each department. They are arranging more trainings for that.
Placement Experience
They are having good placement cell. They will arrange companies from 6th semester onwards. They are giving seperate training for placement from outside people. Conducting more motivational classes. Having more on-campus & off-campus. I placed an company through off-campus. Got 240000 per year (2007 Year passed out).
College Events
Each and every department will have association. They will conduct technical symposiyam. More placement trainings. Sometimes they will arrange alumni meetups. Very rare case, they will conduct cultural programmes. Since that time, Anna university banned those events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees little bit expensive since some of the departments having NBA Certified. (While compared to other colleges). I paid 42000 per annum. Then examination fees. If day scholar bus fees was there on daily basis. They are not collecting now. But having god facility and good infrastructure.
Fees and Financial Aid
They are not arranging any educational loan facility. Whatever, we need example. Bonafide certificates etc, they will give on need base. Scholarship, for poor and good student they will give some amount. I got 4 K one year during annual day.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel will be neat and clean. They wont allow students to waste food. Its 1KM inside campus. Fees was 12k per year + one time advance (They wont repay). Not it seems 20 K per year. 2 days non veg, they are giving. I heard from my friends they said good quality food. Sometimes, it wont be good.
Exam Structure
Yes, They are conducting daily drill exams (They will give open question papers on daily basis one day before). Monthly exams and model exams. (If failed, they will conduct re-exam). It was helpful for main exams. They are very strict on this. Model lab exam also will be there.
Admission
I got admission through Anna university counselling (Single Window System). I paid 5000 Rs. in Counselling. After got seat, I went to college and paid remaining amount 38000 for first year fees. (It includes books & all fees). I entered as days scholar.
Faculty
Faculty members are very good experienced people. This is main advantage of this college. Their dictation and teaching skills are very nice. They will conduct feedback session with student rep, some member and faculties in order to improve their skills.
