Remarks
Amity falls under INDIA'S Top MOST PRIVATE UNIVERSITIES and had good ranking as well that's why I choose AMITY over any other college. For admission, you must be a graduate with 50% marks, must have appeared in CAT, XAT, MAT, etc. Or you have to give their written examination which is followed by an interview.
Course Curriculum Overview
After completing my engineering, I wanted to do an MBA that's why I choose this course. Amity has 500 plus distinguished faculty and they all are very well educated and have years of experience. They teach you every aspect of businesses and also include case studies.
Internships Opportunities
The amity university internship cell I.e CRC/ IIC looks after the summer internship program and they invite different companies for recruitment of student interns. I did my internship at ITC and they offered me a stipend of Rs. 10000. My role was related to sales. There was a sales manager that was assisted me during my whole summer internship.
Placement Experience
Amity provides 100 % placement assistance. There are many companies like WIPRO, ITC, Godrej, deloitte, Dabur etc that visited our campus during my time and everyone got placed also. The highest package of my time was of Rs. 25 lakh.
Fees and Financial Aid
Okay, I went for a sponsored admission and it was costly than the non-sponsored admission. If you're also going for sponsored admission then it will cost you around 5 lakh to study MBA during the first year of your college.
Campus Life
The campus life in AMITY is what I miss the most. It has everything that one could ask for. Advanced labs, expansive sports complexes with facilities for horse riding , tennis, football etc. The campus also has multi cuisine cafeterias, ice cream parlours , clinics etc. The library is huge and have internet facility as well.
Hostel Facilities
During my batch, the hostel fee was somewhere around Rs. 45000. The hostel has Ac as well Non Ac rooms, with attached and non-attached bathrooms. The mess and its food are also okay. Someday they cook really amazing meal and the other day maybe not. So can't comment on that.
Interview Experience
No, there's was no group discussion as far as I know but they do conduct your personal interview after the written exam. If you have given CAT/MAT XAT etc. Then also you have to sit for an interview. I prepared for the interview and my father really helped me with that as he's an HR.
