Remarks

I have applied to Amity university, but it was very expensive to study there that's why I decided to join Chandigarh university. I didn't avail any sort of quota here however I did reserve my seat here. ELIGIBILITY - Min. 50% Mark's in graduation + good scores in CAT or MAT or CUCET + interview.

Course Curriculum Overview

Because I feel like I have good entrepreneurial skills and I wanted to enhance it that's why I choose this course. Chandigarh University has world class faculty and they have years of experience and use case studies to teach the students.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 225000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I did my internship at ICREATIVES which is a Delhi based recruitment consulting agency. My job responsibilities were - calling the candidates and dealing with the clients, posting the vacancy and creating the database. I applied here on my own however university does provide internship opportunities as well. My stipend was Rs. 10000.

Placement Experience

From the 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Companies like Nestle, Dabur, ITC, ICICI BANK, P&G etc . Visit our campus every year. Am in the 4th sem right now and the highest package as of now is Rs.12 LAKH

Fees and Financial Aid

It will cost you around 2 lakh in the first year to study MBA at Chandigarh University. If you want to avail scholarship you have to sit for CUCET which is an entrance exam as well as a scholarship programme.

Campus Life

Every year Chandigarh university used to conduct annual as well as tech fest, but due to pandemics, everything came to standstill. The faculty teaches us online, share the necessary study material through pdfs and ppts. I wish that we get a chance to experience campus life.

Interview Experience

3.5

No, they didn't conduct any GD, I gave only CUCET and there's also no negative marking in the exam, so you can also try your luck, after the exam, they conducted our interview once the results came out.

A Valuable Learning Curve with Real-World Exposure

Placement Experience:

Placement in the college are decent. Mostly students got placed for sales and marketing role. There are very few companies who came for Finance ,HR and Operations and other specializatins. So mostly at the end other specialix=zation students end up with getting a job role in slaes or marketing only.

Generally the placement drives starts during semester 3. Few name of the companies which visits campus Is Deloitte, American Express, Oxane Partners, Nestle & L'oreal etc. Highest package is 24.81 LPA & Average package is 8.17 LPA.

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college of pretty good like the highest package has been continuously increasing in the last odios up to 12:00 p.m. in the last 3 years it has gone from 23 lpa to 27 LPS and we are open that it will again increase in the coming placement. We are actually eligible to set for placements from the second semester itself but particularly speaking about the interviews that the companies take we are eligible to set after exactly after as summer placements even some students get ppo's as the come out of there summer placements so it is basically the second semester where you are eligible to take. Till now there are around 7 to 8 companies that have visited since it is just beginning of the placement sessions Deloitte ,Accenture, Nestle, Hyundai ,Oxane partners are the company that have visited. There is a pretty good number of students were getting placed like out of the hundred students that start for placements recently about 70 to 80% of them had got them place 10% of them will be joining back to the family business and the rest are going to still appear for the placement study till the end of there MBA program. My plans after getting the degree is that I want to work incorporate for a few years and then launch my own startup.

Good college for especially pursuing Master's

Course Curriculum Overview:

Chandigarh University was being suggested by my friends as they have also completed their post graduation from here, and got the placement in Accenture Gurgaon . The student ratio is in quite positive position as the students in my class are 32 . Faculty members in CU holds advanced degress like master's or phd and are highly experienced , the teaching methods are quite innovative as it includes group discussion presentation orientation , group projects , etc .

Placement is good enough if you study well in whole semester. 1. From 3rd semester you are eligible for campus placement and for placement seat you have to register for placement program of rs 7000 this is package given by college and for placement you have to fill this other wise you can go for offcampus placement. 2. Like Google, yamha, polycab India, reliance, Wipro, Deloitte, axis, icici, VI, CCD, berger paint , asiant paint ,etc. Come at 10 to 12 lakh package and take 30 students each company approx and there is more than 300+ company comes 4. Highest 32lakh package and average 5 to 6 lakh package college made. 5. 70 percent student placed from this university I am already placed from this college and one thing is here too much students so focused students only get placed. 3.

Chandigarh University: Ex-Student/Alumni Personal Review.

I chose this college just for the sake of getting exposure from different state from my home state. Also, my state don't have many good colleges for B.Tech but the positioning and advertisement of chandigarh university was well maintained and managed to attract me to its campus as the no. of placement offers and average package was good. I applied for vellore institute of technology, IIT ,NIT and Thapar institute. Out of which, I got NIT and VIT but lack of knowledge and guidance made me miss out joining oppurtunity and in the end I got chandigarh university.
