Remarks

The admission process was simple. There was a seperate exam for enterance BVU CET exam. You have to fill a form for the same. On the day of counselling based on the rank the branch is allocated. The lowest placement is 3.6 and average is 4 lpa. The highest is 21 lpa. It basically depends on the student. Common companies in which student get placed are TCS,Capgemini,Birlasoft,Infosis,HCL,Wipro etc. There are many college groups to take part in for extracurricular.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course Curriculum is good, the faculy is also nice.There are 8 sems having 5-6 subjects in each sem. In first sem students are taught about all the branches included in engineering after that from second sem onwards they are taught their respective branch. In third year students have to make a mini project and in fourth year they have to make a final year project under a guide for which they are expected to publish a research paper as well.

Internships Opportunities

Students are expected to do an internship in 3rd year. This year the college had a tie-up with Zensar technologies for the internship program. Many students participated in it. The rest of the students got their intership from outside.

Placement Experience

Placement starts in the seventh sem. Almost 90% of the students got placed this year. lowest package 3.5 lpa. highest package 21lpa. no of compancies visited were around 20. Average package was 4lpa. Placement was 100% for CS/IT/EandTC students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee stucture for 2017-2021 batch was 1,12,000 per year. The exam fee is excluded from this annual fee. The exam fee is around 3k for each sem which has to be paid before every sem. Apart this hostel is not mandatory.

Campus Life

The campus is very big and beautiful. The library is a three-story building which includes 2 stories for studing. There are clubs for sports, singing, dancing, dramatics, EDC, social groups, etc where students can take part.

Hostel Facilities

for boys - D-hostel is only available for a year after that boys are expected to live in a hostel outside or flat. There are plenty of options for accommodation outside the campus which at walkable distance. for girls, there are 3 hostel options which are available for 4 years. meal quality is fine.

YCCE College : My Experience

Placement Experience:

The placements are good in the YCCE college as compared to other colleges in Nagpur. From seventh semester the students are eligible for the campus reqruitments. The companies that offer placements in YCCE are Microsoft, TCS, Infosys, wipro, Persistent etc. The highest package is around 24 LPA and the average package is around 5 LPA. Around 70-80% students get placed every year in the college. My plans after getting the degree is to get a secure job and spent time with family.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college are pretty good considering the Fact that mostly its the Top 2000-3000 students from Maharashtra that make it to this college. The average Package offered in the college is Around 11LPA while the highest package last year was around 48LPA. The names of the Top companies that have recruited students from my college include Adobe, Amazon and Mastercard. The placement percentage from the past few years has been above 90%. My plans after getting the Degree is either to continue my Cricket Career as a Proffesional or to become a Commercial Pilot.
