Experience worth the investment

I did not apply to many colleges as I already knew that Bharati Vidyapeeth was one of the best choices for BBA. My father is a businessman is a reason I took up BBA instead of BBA-LLB in the same university. Also, BBA has been the best course offered by BVIMR. I had to give an entrance exam - BUMAT, on the basis of it's scores, we recieved the dates of counseling. There was a deadline as per the results of BUMAT. The low scorers were not given an option to decide between the shifts, morning or afternoon. They also made us fill a long-form with all the necessary details and an anti-ragging form.

The curriculum is updated yearly. Along with the books, we are also provided with a coursepack, which is made by all the head faculties with the content curated from different books and updated aspects of the subject. There were a good number of faculty, enough to take up the lectures of any faculty if in the case was not available. We had visiting faculty in some semesters as well and regular guest lectures on most of the subjects. The faculties majorly taught from the course pack, made us do the written assignments along with which we had exams calles, CES, which were reflected in our final results. Even after the pandemic, there was not much of a delay than a month. Otherwise, everything went as per the schedule. The internals was easy to moderate but externals were moderate to difficult to pass.

Most of the companies were NGOs, and for sales and marketing, and finance. The stipend was not informed in most of the internships. These internships were offered in our 4th semester for the project in the next semester.

After the 5th semester, the students start getting offers for the on campus placements. The induction process begins. Each company made at least 2-3 offers. The highest package for BBA was 8-10 LPA, and average is 4LPA.

While I got admission, the yearly fees was around Rs. 1,20,000 and currently it is Rs. 1,40,000. The on-campus jobs offered a decent stipend to students. The maximum jobs were for marketing students, for sales and then for finance.

There are a lot of opportunities if you look around. There are different societies and events one can be a part of, through organizing to coordinating to participating in all the events There is an annual fest, Rennaisance, which involves every kind of competition that takes place in the month of March. Annually, all the special days are celebrated on an intra-college level, like Ozone Day, Constitution Day, International Day, and also sports day takes place in February which includes all the activities, indoor as well as outdoor games. Each and every society participates on campus as well as in off-campus competitions and has updated over social media handles. The library is the place where one can get find all genres, I personally have explored the library, from storybooks to encyclopedias, everything is available.
