Remarks
The admission criteria were through JEE Mains rank. The counseling was held online. I also applied in JOSAA Counselling but was not happy with the college which I got there so choosen HBTU Kanpur. I do not have any quota as I am a General Category candidate it was little difficult for me but I am happy that I got seat in HBTU Kanpur in Chemical Engineering Branch.
Course Curriculum Overview
I had interest in Chemical Engineering descipline as I have read a lot about it. The faculty here is quite good and helpful they guide students. The faculty to student ratio is 1:5 in our college. Faculty here has a minimum qualification of Masters of Technology while few have done PhD. as well. Term exams happen at sufficient time for students to prepare. And they are not that difficult to crack everything is covered beforehand only.
Internships Opportunities
Reliance, Exxon Mobil, Jio, India Mart, Samsung, TCSiON, etc. visit for internships. Projects are done in the internships by the student. Students are given the right to choose their final year projects on their own.
Placement Experience
Students from 7th semester are eligible for placements. At around 60-70 companies visit for all the branches in the college. Exxon Mobil, DCM Shriram, Samsung, Jio, Reliance, TCS, Infosys, etc. companies visit in the campus. The highest package is 60 lakh in Google(Off-Campus) and the average is around 5-7 lakhs.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost is Ruppes One lakh thirty-five thousand per year. Fee hike happens at 10% per year. Uttar Pradesh government gives scholarships to the eligible students of our college. Companies visit campus for placements and internships.
Campus Life
Adhyaay is the annual and technical fest held here. And aagaz is the Sports fest that happens here. Adhyaay is conducted in November and Aagaz in February. Every book is available in the library but they are limited so you need to go early to get a book. Sports and extracurricular activities are quite supported here with academics.
