DOMS IIT Roorkee involves students in deep research work in the different functional areas of Management. Besides, the facilities for doctoral research for meritorious and aspiring students are provided under full time and part time mode. UG degree with 60% marks and master degree also with 60% marks followed by GATE /NET score and GD, PI are required for the admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

This five years course has semester system. The first three years have project works and last two years focus on thesis work. Most of the faculty members of this course have Ph.D degree and they have come from diverse backgrounds to develop the ability and skills of students.

Placement Experience

Different companies and organisations visit the campus and conduct a PPT before the interview session. The institute does not offer any placement for Ph.D students during the program. After completion of the program the students get chance to work in different research institutes.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of this course is INR 2 lacs per semester. The institute provides conference grant, contingency grant for the scholar students. There are special scholarships for economically weaker and meritorious students.

I didnt applied for any other colleges other than some iits which were iit bombay, kanpur, roorkee, guwahati. Just these four and nothing because i got a decent rank in JEE Adv 2025. No i didnt get rejection from any college with my rank in jee main and advanced 2025 The admission process is straight like 1) JEE main 2) JEE Advanced 3) Josaa counselling Cutoff for top seven iits is higher than all other iits neans that you cant get into top seven just by qualifying jee advanced, you must have a good rank....Read More

IIT ROORKEE - A SCRUPULOUS REVIEW

I took part in jossa councelling and got it . I was happy with any of seven old iits . In better way , i would be happy in going any top iit. Moreover i choose it because of it's weather and location. Rest all things are similar to all top iits. Nothing is less in iit roorkee. You have to give jee main then jee advanced. If you get good rank , you will get this college. You will have to get air under 5000 to get in iit roorkee or any top iit....Read More

1st year opinion of IIT Roorkee

I took admission from JEE (Main+Advance).Form could be found on NTA website. Some reservation benefits were , i got a bit higher brancher even though my rank was lower. Mains timing are morning shift and evening shift. As for advance it runs all day for 6 hours(with a break of 2 hour in between). Mains is easy , advance is a bit difficult....Read More
