My College Experience

I had appeared Gate examination in 2007 I had got all India rank of 1436 and As some of my seniors pursuing their post graduation in the same college and based on their suggestions. I had opted for that college and i joined in this college based on counselling conducted by the college.

The course curriculum includes 2 regular semesters , i year for project work in first semester 4 subjects and 2 electives , in second semester also 4 subjects and 2 electives and 1 full year for project work where we can involve in more research work and any other industrial training which we can support our thesis work.

No there are no internship facilities but as we are of gate qualified students we use to get stipend of amount 8000 rupees per month from our college. College has provided stipend in regular intervals of every six months.

out of 25 members of class 14 are placed through campus in which 3 members in L&T ECC (CTC 3.6lakhs) , 2 Members in building systems(3 lakhs CTC), 5 members in akshaya infra consultants(2.6lakhs CTC), 4 members in avnion infra (3.6lakhs CTC). Some other students went to public sector jobs and some to Teaching side.

No, college didn't offered any loan facility as i am gate qualified person college provided stipend so there is no any requirement for loan or scholarship.

In every semester 6 written exams and 1 lab exam, where 60 Marks for external exams and 40 marks for internal exams which consists of assignments and mid term examinations. 1 lab exam where practicals has to be done, 60 marks for external examination and lab tests and 40 marks for internal daily lab practicals.

The public notification has been given in news paper for gate qualified members. I had downloaded the prescribed application form from online from JNTU Hyderabad website. Then i had attached all my documents related to the course and a demand draft of application amount has been attached and sent to the address by post.

All the faculty members are well experienced and also Ph.d holders at that time so that the class work is very good and lot of assignments are done. The faculty members are not only teachers but also advisory associates for some governing bodies so the they had very good knowledge in all aspects.
