Entrance Preview

I got admission in this college through JEE MAINS exam and i have scored 185 marks. I opt this college because its a place where you can explore yourself and further i have to do IES coaching and its a best place for that .

Internships Opportunities

No, our college doesn't provide internship.if you have to do internship, you have to apply yourself.

Placement Experience

Placement and job opportunities is very good for computer science and information technology stream.Almost every student belonging to this stream get placed.But for core branches there is less chances of getting placed as there is not much campus placement for them.

College Events

In college there is one sports fest and one technical fest happened every year. In sports various indoor and outdoor games were played. Technical fest has been organised at big level in which various societies organise various events. All the students of college as well as inter college students can participate in these events.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarship has been provided by college to Meritorious students but by state government scholarship has been given on economic conditions.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is nice. Monthly there is sessional exam in which one third syllabus is covered and also there is practical exams on monthly basis.There are three sessional exams in each semester before the semester exam and thereafter semester exams were held.

Admission

I have got admission through JEE MAINS exam and i have got 185 marks and then i fill the form and at the day of counselling, i opt for mechanical stream. For counselling i went to mathura where i completed all the required procedure and then i was asked if i want to do upgraduation but i said no because i got branch of my choice.

Faculty

Faculty is nice and supportive and they always try to support students as much as they can. They keep on motivating students to excel in the field in which they want to. The way of teaching is nice as they start to teach from basics so that each student can understand it easily.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Jims is a ipu college, so yeah curriculum depends entirely on ipu University. First year is similar for all btech courses. Or is easy to earn marks in lab and soft skill subjects but maths or physics is hard. Your 12th basics should be very good, else these two subjects will affect your overall SGPA badly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course structure is good of btech but there there is only thing I don't like is that in btech course the subjects in first year are not related to career of students because there is physics, chemistry other irrelevant subjects present in first year but in second year the course become interesting and relevant. Curriculum is good and prepare well for real world applications. The exams comes frequently every month there is a class test but class tests are moderate on the basis of there difficulty level.

Great learning and internship Support

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements in the final year. The college offers basic placement training and assistance. Some local and local-level comanies even visit for campus recruitment with average offers. Average package: 2-4 LPA, highest around 9-10 LPA 60-90 percent students get placed. My plan is to develop my skills and attain a good job or go for higher studies after degree.

From 8th sem clg placement starts the companies like infosys hcl tcs airtel and many more comes the highest package was rs 12.50 lakh by a senior girl of btech and the avg package is 6 lakhs around 90 percent+ get the placement somehow teacher also use their public relations to get their students placed so the package differs but placement happens at high rate ....my plan is to prepare for govt job and get a job at pwd as assistant engineer

Course Curriculum Overview:

Honestly speaking I don't like the curriculum of my college. Everything is same which people studied 20 years ago . Only few things has been changed and I don't understand why we need to study about things which don't have any existence in reality. They should focus on current tech and provide more learning opportunities in AI.
