Remarks

No college I applied to and therefore no reason of not to attend. No I have not availed any quota for admission, so sorry I can't provide any detail. Criteria is as simple that you have to give UPSEE entrance exam and you have to good score so that you can choose GCET as the option for taking admission. 55% I guess required for taking admission in any college via UPSEE. Admission process as the same as it happens in every college of AKTU. You have to visit the college for the counseling and have to do document verification and submit the fees.

As I had done BCA in past and was looking for post-graduation I chose MCA. 59 students are in the mca. Teachers are highly qualified and experienced they teach in a better way that is easier to understand for the students. Subjects like data structure and oops which they teach I will never forget in future. Term exams or can semester are easy because all preparation we do at the time sessionals that makes semester easier to tackle. Yes, little bit difficult it is as MCA hard.

Class Size: 59Course Fees: INR 250000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

If I talk about fees really it is high but private college have high fees compare to goverment college. Total fees I submitted was 2.25lakh. Ist installement was during the time of admission 1,25,000 after that they take 1,00,000 as second installment after 6months. where 15,000 is been deposited as security money which will be returned. No scholarship, no financial assistance and no job.

Campus Life

As took the admission the previous year and due to lockdown I didn't get a chance to attend any annual fest and tech fest. Yes, in the college thier are approx. 35 lakhs+ books and jouinals provided in the library and also its fully airconditioned and wifi facility is provided. Classrooms are normal no such smartness I saw in classrooms. Due to lockdown and pandemic no sports has been conducted so I can not provide such information. and more information required.

Galgotias College: A college that underwhelms you in every way but never allows you to complaint.

I also applied to its affiliated college galgotias university because I heard about horrors of aktu. But didn't opt for it because the crowd on gu is actually considered really bad. GCET gives admission through UPTAC counselling through aktu. You have to appear for JEE and secure a rank of at least 2 Lakhs if you're from UP and want top CS branches....Read More

Insights of GCET

At the time of counselling, GCET is my 3rd preference as I have properly researched about it and matches with my eligibilty criteria as well. I have also applied for JIIT Noida, but couldn't able to get CSE branch. However, In greater noida, comparing to other private colleges, GCET is much better option because of its location, fee structure, campus size. Admission process happened through AKTU counselling, also 15% seats researved for direct admission as well.
