Remarks

Kamla Nehru Institute and IET are the colleges for which I applied but after not getting I chosen GCET. No, for the admission I haven't availed in quota, admission was only on the basis of UPSEE results and rank. Admission criteria were simple you need to be a graduate in BCA, BSc. or any graduation degree with maths. Minimum marks and age were not such criteria at the time of admission but if there were any criteria I was not aware of it. The admission process was simple you have to give exams for entrance, as I gave UPSEE and at the time of counseling GCET was offered, so took it. I went to the college for admission and there I had to full payment of 1st year along with extra charges the total amount I paid was 1,25,000 only with further document verification.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose MCA as to complete my post-graduation degree for galgotia college. The best things about the course is that it gives knowledge about computer and its technologies. 63 students are in the course. Teacher are qualified and knowledgeable but not helpful. As we are attending online classes and their no better ways to get eachother or can say lack of communication. The teaching quality is average. Semester exams are easier and are happen per semester with two sessionls but semester exams are easier if I compare to internals. They take lot of sessionals that student himself get perfered for semester exams. 40% is the passing percentage I guess.

Class Size: 63Course Fees: INR 125000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fees are approx: 2.25lakhs. where first payment was of 1.25 lakh rupees and second payment was of 1 lakh rupees. and 15 thousand is refundable amount as deposited as security money. No scholarship, no finacial assistance and yet no job also.

Campus Life

Facilities are damn good as for the fees we are paying for the course as gcet is wifi enabled campus, with air-conditioned labs and library with above 3 lakhs+ books for the students. due to corona virus not able to attend sports and games, medical facilities. Due to lockdown, no fest has been conducted, and only experience of online classes on MS team

Galgotias College: A college that underwhelms you in every way but never allows you to complaint.

I also applied to its affiliated college galgotias university because I heard about horrors of aktu. But didn't opt for it because the crowd on gu is actually considered really bad. GCET gives admission through UPTAC counselling through aktu. You have to appear for JEE and secure a rank of at least 2 Lakhs if you're from UP and want top CS branches....Read More

Insights of GCET

At the time of counselling, GCET is my 3rd preference as I have properly researched about it and matches with my eligibilty criteria as well. I have also applied for JIIT Noida, but couldn't able to get CSE branch. However, In greater noida, comparing to other private colleges, GCET is much better option because of its location, fee structure, campus size. Admission process happened through AKTU counselling, also 15% seats researved for direct admission as well.
