Remarks
The admission process was divided into two phases. The first one is through JEE score and the preference is given to them after all the students who had applied through JEE score got their seats then the seats were allocated through merit bases i.e based on their 12th percentage.
Course Curriculum Overview
I had my interest in the mechanical field before joining so I choose this couse. All the faculty members were M.tech graduates and the teaching method was also good. The focus was to clear both the theoretical as well as practical doubts and the labs with different sections were provided. There were 2 sessional exams with moderate difficulty levels and one-semester exam with moderate-high difficulty levels.
Placement Experience
The placements for the CS-IT students were really good as most of the students got the campus placement. The placement for other branches was a little less as compared to IT guys. You can always sit in the companies which offer placement for every branch.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure was the same for all the branches and gradually increased after every year. You can avail a scholorship if you have scored decent marks in JEE exam or in your 12th standard. Major IT companies visits in the college were : Infosys, wipro, Nine Leaps etc and for Mechanical the companies that visited was Ashok Leyland.
Campus Life
The college is situated near the Mussoorie hills and you can have an amazing view of that. Every year the college conducts an annual fest. The college has a great library where one can find almost every couse book and other magazines as well as newspapers. It also has different clubs to participate as per your interest.
