Remarks

The admission process was easy. You need to keep an eye on cut-off regularly. As you come under the rank asked in the cut-off, you just need to go to college during working hours which you need to check on the website. Important point is to carry all your documents such as class 10th and 12th marksheet, character certificate, etc. As you reach the college you will be directed to the room where the admission-related process of your course is going on. There they will ask you to fill a form and attach a photocopy of your documents. There is a photocopy shop in the basement of the college which makes it easier for you to deal with stationery things. After submitting those documents set there is the payment of the fees and you get some slip having the stamp of college. The complete process takes some time, so be prepared and be careful while handling your documents. Original documents are submitted by the college and returned later. My course cut off was above 12000 ranks

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I chose the course because i was interested in mechanical engineering and i like the subjects it offers. The faculty is experienced and easy to approach. If you are facing any issues related to academics you can tell them easily. Some of them have very good teaching experience and have done their Masters and Phd from IITs, DTU, etc. They use PPTs, video demonstrations and lot other things to explain the concept, and also if you have any doubt you can contact them easily. Overall they are cooperative and some are really supportive. Term Exams are generally on time and covers 2 units in every subject. They are generally not too difficult to pass

Placement Experience

3

Placements opportunities are quite less for students of civil and mechanical engineering. For CS, IT, and other branches companies visit campus. Also there is pre placement program organised for students in final year to guide them properly. The average package is around 4 LPA. Companies such as wipro, samsung, infosys, etc visit here.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of the college are not much as compared to other colleges. it is around one lakh six thousand rupees only. There is a scholarship scheme of government provided to the students depending on their annual income. Some may get whole tution fee back and some also get upto 50% depending on their income. Campus jobs are there but mostly for CS, IT students, As a civil or mechanical student you will be a bit disappointed. Though you are allowed to appear for those companies as well if you match the eligibility criteria.

Campus Life

4.5

Life at the campus is very nice. Ther are a lot of clubs, societies, etc. Auditions start generally in the beginning of the semester for almost all the societies such as drama, music, dance, etc. You will find them very interesting and good. There will lot of opportunities to compete with other colleges as well once you grt selected in any of the society. Sports in the college is also good. You can join the sport you love, of course there are trials. Cricket, athletics, table tennis, tug of war, etc. are there. If you are good enough you may get a chance to participate in nationals.

Placement Experience:

The fifth semester students become eligible for campus placements. The College organise placement, registration and shortlisting based on academic performance and semester marks. Many well-known companies visit the campus for hiring every year, including both mass recruitment and profile based offers students get opportunities in core companies as well as IT and consulting firms, the highest package offered in recent years has been competitive, and the average package is decent for most . A good percentage of students manage to secure placement through campus drives, but it also depends on students preparation and skill level students also get internships into placement offers. If a student does not get a campus placement, there are still good options for employability students to prepare for off campus placement, government exams or higher studies like Masters. Overall the placement environment is active and give students affair chance to start their careers.
