A journey worth sharing

The admission procedure for the BTech is consist of 50% of 10+2 (CHSE or any state board) and 50 % of jee main results. Also, you can join here as a lateral entry after your diploma. If you have secured good marks you can also find a good discount on the course fee. For the SC/ ST students, no course fee is applicable. For admission, you just simply go to the college admission section they can easily complete the admission procedure. You can also ask your any queries through mail and call.

From the beginning, I love the construction work and designing of different Roads, bridges, buildings, etc. Here there are more qualified and skilful teachers who not only teach but also guidance you in every situation. So I prefer civil engineering. Here the faculty-student ratio is currently 1:12. All the facilities are completed MTech in different fields and crack different competitive exams. All have more than 4/5 Years of teaching experience, some also have more than 10 years and 20year respectively. As all the teachers are well experienced they clarify all the doubts and teaches smoothly as everyone can understand the topic thoroughly. Per semester there are different types of exams conducted i.e, 2/3 surprise tests, 3 Internals and lastly final exam. The seminar was also conducted before the final exam of the semester. If someone is fully attentive during the class hour they can easily pass the examination. There is also some fine taken if you do not pass the internal exam.

In the last year of graduation, one major project and one minor project is conducted. The project includes detailed information on that topic with the prototype (demo) of the project. Some different software courses and other internship facilities are conducted by a collaboration of different organisations and colleges. After project submission, you have to give a proper seminar by using ppt and other stuff. After all that completion you will get a respective certificate for the software courses and internship from that reputed organization or college.

After the 7th semester, one can eligible for campus placement. Different construction companies and designing companies visited often with a good package. The package is based on the companies. Although 3/4 companies come every year, not all the students get selected. if anyone is not selected for any company before the final exam their name is shortlisted at the placement cell, so when in future the company is visited you will get notified, and you can visit the placement cell at any time. After my degree, I prepare for the GATE exam for further studies.

Generally, the fee structure for every student varies between 50000 to 70000. If you got more percentage in both 10+2 and jee main you get a discount on the fee. For some special cases like financial problems of students, fees may be lessened. For the SC and ST students, no course fees are applicable. All Students gets the scholarship like Prerana for SC, ST students and Medhabruti for general students for 4 years. You can also find a job before the last or final semester with a good stipend.

Every year the annual fest conducted named as "Charisma", some celebrities come to entertain the students every year in the month of February. In the month of December and January, there are different sports and extracurricular activities are performed, i.e., Cricket, Kabaddi, Badminton, Table Tennis, Track Event, Indoor Games, Essay Competition, Debate competition, creative writing, general knowledge competition, group discussion, singing, dancing, mono action, drama etc. Every year there are also blood donation camps, organ donation camps and other social campaigns conducted by the students and college authorities. For the betterment of students, there is also a central library present which contains different books for the respective branches of BTech and also contains the magazine, journal, newspaper etc. Nowadays everything things in shown digitally so the classroom has also a projector and system, so students can learn a particular topic clearly.

All the hostels are on the campus premises so there is no problem with travelling. Both Hostel and canteen are different for both boys and girls. In the hostel, in a particular room maximum of 2 students can stay. All the rooms are well equipped for better living purposes. In the canteen, you can easily take the meal. All the registration process for hostel and flooding is done at the time of admission, so need to be a worry. You can also go to the market in the afternoon by taking the permission of the Hostel Warden in the given time period. Many rooms and PG are available in between 500-meter radius of campus with the market.
