About my college

I have applied to different colleges of West Bengal by giving WBJEE exam. Also after few days of WBJEE, I get my result of JEE Mains and I got 68 marks which are quite satisfying, so I opt for CV Raman too because this college is too good for its placement record. If you have more than 80 marks you will easily get CSE branch here and if more than 60 then you will get electronics and electrical. So I got electronics and electrical branch. Due to Covid, all the admission process was held online and also online classes are being gone on.

I choose this course because CV Raman is famous for BTech placement. Also if you have the knowledge you will definitely get decent placement. For every 50 students, there is 1 faculty. All the teachers are highly qualified and mostly are IIT graduates. The best thing is all the exams and results are always on time. You will get your every sem results on time.

As my branch is ECE, so the placement here of ECE is so good like the CSE branch. You will definitely get a decent package if you have the skills. From the 7th semester, students are eligible for the placement. Every year the average company visited is 40 to 50. The highest package in the ECE branch is 8 lakh and overall it is 14 lakh. The average package offered here is 3 to 4 lakh. The best thing is there is a 100% placement record. I will try to give my best in placement and get a decent job.

Our course fee is 1 lakh 45 thousand annually and 20000 for special skills classes. Also, the registration charge is 1500 for every semester. College provides different types of scholarships for local students as well as outsiders. Many of my friends have availed of this facility.

The campus life here is so good. The campus size is about 100 acres. You will get different lawns here on campus too. There are a lot of beautiful gardens. There are two fests conducted in our college one is celegance which is the annual fest of our college and another one is Vidyantatrik. There is a huge library on our campus where you will get every type of book. Various indoor and outdoor sports are played here. There are officially three clubs in our college dramatics club and two dance clubs. Many literary clubs are also there.

There is two boys hostel. One is the old boy's hostel which has three beds and all the rooms are non-ac which costs are 77000. Another one is the apartment hostel which has two beds and three beds also and it is both ac and non-ac which cost is 87000. But the worst thing about here is the food. No taste at all. You have to contact the chief hostel warden for getting a seat in the hostel.
