If you have any valid JEXPO or VOCLET scorecard then you can get admission in your desire diploma course just get to college and the admission process is very easy just submit all your documents of class 10 and class12 (if available) and your valid id proof and you'll get admission with a semester fee of 15000/-. There is SC-ST/obc quota advantage too in your semester fees. But if you don't have any JEXPO or VOCLET score then you have to go for the direct admission process here the administration may ask you for 20000/- per semester as a fee and extra charge. Eligibility criteria: Min 50% marks in class 10 or equivalent with Maths and Physics as a compulsory subject from any recognized board. I went for Shree Ramkrishna Institute Of Science And Technology in Diploma in Architecture as in Diploma in Architecture, there are very few colleges.

This course has 6 semesters with heavy drawings in every semester and less theory according to other courses. There are 4 Architecture faculty members and 30 students intake the faculty members are well qualified in B.arch/ M.arch/IIA and their teaching process is also good, they show all the details you need for a brief in Architecture. passing is not very difficult but drawing is very important. There are few class tests as well.

You can go for an internship if you are from your end as well as faculty will also help you if you need so. There are very few companies that actually hire Diploma students for internships. But you can go for private projects if you want to it can give you experience which you can put in your CV for a better offer.

There are no official placement in the Architecture department but the faculty members will guide you to find jobs in your career They will guide you the right way in your career. The average package in Kolkata for a diploma in Architecture is 7-10000/- per month. My advice is to go for B.Arch or B.Tech Civil for a high gross in salary as well as a career in your life.

Fees are 15000/- per semester for JEXPO or VOCLET candidates or 20000/- per semester for direct admission. There are no scholarships but for SC-ST/OBC the fess per semester will be less. College financial assistance is also very good. The faculty members will guide you through placement.

The annual fest is Fluresent. It happens in mid-year and tech fest happens on end-year. Books are available from the library every semester. classrooms are good and indoor sports facilities are also there.
