Remarks
The admission process was really simple. All you have to do is go to Chitkara University official site and choose the course and further fill. The full form, where you have to pay some application form fees and then after some days you will receive a call for the confirmation of the admission and then you will have to pay the fees and an interview will be conducted.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is really good and has good scope. Teachers over here are good and well educated. As well they have a good teaching method. Talking about exams Chitkara University conducts exams regularly like there are three msts out of which two are compulsory and third one is optional and the final exams.
Internships Opportunities
Many Advertising, News Agencies come to universities in order to hire them. They get a good stipend and the roles offered are journalism, News Anchor, RJ, Advertisement, PR, etc. Many projects and opportunities come to university for the students, which gives really good outcomes.
Placement Experience
In the BAJMC stream, students get eligible from the 6th semester for the placement. There are many companies that visit universities for their placements. The highest placements vary year to year and deserving students get selected. Almost 85% of students get placed. My plans after getting the degree are to do placement and further go abroad.
Fees and Financial Aid
Well! There is no scholarship in the college, which is one of the major drawbacks of the college. And the fees structure is high as well for almost all courses. Fees get increased almost every year like I took admission in 2020 batch so my fees in 62000 whereas the 2019 batch has 60000 something fees also, you will be charged with 8000 rs in beginning.
Campus Life
Campus and social life are really good. The University is famous for its campus life, as it has a beautiful campus where usually many stars and celebrities arrive. Chitkara University has a good scope of sports and extracurricular activities. Equal importance is given to studies and extracurricular activities.
