Amazing College

No. The college is doing great from many years and i just pray it keeps on doing the same for coming years too.

I did BJMC from DAV college and scored 61%. I opted for this college because my course was available in only 2 colleges of my city. The other one is far off, i had no friends going there and plus DAV had a name, so finalised this.

Great! College is affiliated to Guru Nanak Dev University. So my curriculum had nice subjects changing every semester which gave us overall development in various fields of media.

I got my internship on my own and was paid a decent amount of stipend. Hence i was pretty satisfied with what and how everything got fixed. Mass comm is a practical subject so it was quite important to get into an org. I was always interested in radio, so that's what i did.

For our very course, we had no placement drive as such. Students went on their own to find jobs. But, teachers were supportive in getting the training and internships done.

Our college used to take part in youth fest, which was big event for us. To select candidates for the same, they used to hold a talebt hunt. That sed to be big.

Fees are very nominal. Even though our course demanded a lot of practicals but the fees wasn't kept too high. The mode of payments were nice and the time of payment was also nice.

Yes. Students who used to get good positions in university and competitions, were given scholarships. I had got a position in debate in youth fest due to which i also got a rebate in my fees.

Campus life is superb. Every department keeps on holding something or the other in events and then good participants were always promoted for bigger events outside.

I never availed such service as the college was in my hometown. But my friends shared that the environment is nice and comfortable and the food is cheap and good.

I want to attend such function. This year our batch wasn't invited but yes alumni happened in our college.There should be something on facebook where they can add more people to build a network.

There is internal one exam that used to happen in every semester and then the finas used to happen from University's side.

There was no HOD when i had done my course as i was in the second batch of this course. Later when we passed out, an HOD came. A senior permanent professor that we had was of commerce dept due to which our dept used to struggle a bit. But other adhoc teachers weer great.
