DAV College Jalandhar Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

For the placements many companies like hdfc bank, axis bank, union bank have visited the college and many renowned companies like wipro have introduced their internship programsand many other local companies have recruited the students of college

Kind of interested in accounting and finance and tax structure and my friends were choosing it too, and there's punjabi included too which is our language here, so it's a kind of percentage booster, the exams were taken in two shifts morning 9-12pm and evening 1-4pm

The exams have 5 questions of 20marks each but according it gets a bit difficult to complete it but nevertheless it gets easy by time. If have any doubts teachers clearly solve them and help you to understand they would even guide you that which course you should go for

Final year student get eligible for placement, companies like wipro , kotak bank ,sbi , mahindra etc have offered placement for students of dav ,the highest placement this year was 7.5 lpa by to two students of bcom and average is 15000-25000 per month . According to em its 50% of students who get placement. My future plans are to go for mba which is not Available in dav or to give some interview and job based test

At the time of admission the college staff have taken a counselling of each student and they tell us about the pros and cons of chossing bcom. From this I decided to choose . In bcom all the teachers are very helpful.

College has its own placement cell and offfer placements to students and they all get average 60kpa. If placement does not occur , we can join industries and other sector as a employement . Hence teachers have links they can also help in placement

There is facility of campus placement in our college and the general eligibility is after completing UG. There are many placement drives in our college by various companies and the average package offered is between 3 to 5 lakhs per annum. The most recent one i got to know about is SMG Electric Scooters Ltd. My plan is not of pursuing a placement from this college. Rather I'll begin my CAT preparation from next year and I will definitely secure a seat in IIM and pursue a placement via MBA from IIM itself.

Not many students get placement as vollege provide placements from first year butt only of 20-30k not big placement or companies they give placement in banks or pther small kind of jo s which are available without placement too easily

• the college is good and I heard about this college from my friends that's why I chose this course in this college • the teachers prepare the students properly not just bookish knowledge but knowledge for real life too • the teachers should come on time •2 exams per semester ( not very hard )

The reputation of this college was good so I thought the teachers and studies will also be good in college They just give knowledge already available from the books nothing else The teachers should clear basic concepts of the students first before going to intermediate level 2 exams per semester they are mid level difficult
