The best choice among the same league colleges.

The admission process is one of the important parts of Bschool admission. The mock exams give us a fair idea about how which college to target and accordingly apply to them. In my case, I applied to SIBM, SCMHRD, IIT's and all IIM's. There is no sectional cutoff for SNAP so as a backup in case I did not clear my sectional cut-off I applied for SNAP.

In terms of faculty-student ratio, it is 1:10. which is one of the best among IIT's. Most of the teachers have teaching experience of more than 20 years and have a research experience. They have also been part of various consulting project. There are seven term exams and 4 semester. The final marks are given by taking into consideration of all the other activities such as presentations, quizzes and all the assignments.

The overall cost of studying is around 8.5 lakhs(including hostel) which is lower than most of the colleges. Apart from that IITM has 100 percent placement so the fees are totally worth it. There is various finance scholarship that is given on the website and is updated on yearly basis.

The annual fest is Saarang which was online due to covid situation. The books and library are well falicitated with latest editions. The weekly subscription to international magazines is also helpful. The various student-driven committees and groups make the campus very lively. A few of the committees examples are placements, MILS. There are clubs such as the finance club, thge consulting clubb which is totally student driven and thus allowing exploring and experimenting in the college. For sports and extra-cirrucular activities there are various sports in the 700 acres lush campus. There are also iner-department competitions in the institute.

Facilities such as a table, hot water, and bed are provided in the hostel. The meal quality is good. There are a variety of options in mess and a booking system is available through which monthly mess booking is done. The mess and hostel are pretty reasonable since hostel charges are 25000 per year.
