Entrance Preview

I opted for this college because i wanted to get an admission into Computer Engineering and had it had good placement oppurtunities.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is given by the Mumbai University. Although i was an Engineering student,there were barely any programming subjects. Only some introductions like Object Oriented Programming principles. Most of the other subjects were theoretical. Mathematics was there for 2 years.

Internships Opportunities

No, There were no internship opportunities. Only some BPO companies came for providing jobs. They did provide us with some course options like Microsoft.

Placement Experience

Placement opportunities were nearly null.Most of the companies that came were BPO's. The others had a very low package and most of them would hire people and never call. The only noteworthy companies hat ever came were Cap Gemini, Nucsoft. Other places we had to visit by ourselves,for example,pool campus placement drives.

Fees and Financial Aid

There were certain scholarships available for people who scored more than 80 % in one year's aggregate percentage.It had most of their fees paid. But this scholarship was from TATA.

Admission

I gave my MHT-CET in 2012 and i scored 102/200 in PCM. I got admission through the online admission process. The online form was released for everyone. I had to visit the college with necessary documents. It took a long time and he admission process was not handled by the college neatly.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of my college was fairly average. The class teachers assigned were friendly and took good care of students. Almost all of the teachers were good in their respective field subjects. The best teacher i had was the one who taught us Operating Systems. She always conducted a very interactive session and explained concepts till they were crystal clear.

Placement Experience:

placements here are eligible from the 6th sem . companies like tcs , infosys , capgemini , tech mahindra , infocepts etc visit the campus offering multiple roles .the highest package is around 12LPA while average ranges between 3 to 4 LPA . My plan is to prepare for campus placement drive

COEP Technological University through my eyes.

Placement Experience:

Good placements are offered by this college. Top companies like Tata Motors, Bajaj, DE Shaw, Goldman Sachs, Wells Fargo, Wipro pari, etc. Average placement for mechanical branch is about 9lpa while that for computer and entc goes up to 15lpa.

READ BEFORE YOU TAKE ADMISSION IN MGM CET NAVI MUMBAI. An Honest Opinion on MGM CET Navi Mumbai.

Compared to the other colleges, MGM CET is well maintained and has premises spreaded over a good amount of land area. Campus is cleaned everyday througout the day. Cleaning vehicles are provided to the cleaning staff, reducing the physical labour on them, which is a really good initiative. I didnt get rejection from other colleges, i chose MGM due to the travelling comfort i get as the college is near my house compared to other colleges. Admission process takes only 2-3hours, All the documents are collected in the center, fees payment is conducted and then ID card generation process starts.
