Remarks

The facilities in the college could be better it is also in need of a dedicated training and placement cell which had no relation with the academicians as many students suffer due to that.

Entrance Preview

i cleared AIEEE and ranked 500 in the State and i took mechanical Engineering as it was available in this college and was renowned college in state for mechanical

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The practical knowledge was good as we had fully functioning mechanical workshop that had all basic machines like Lathe, grinders, milling machines, drills. Every student had one machine so the exposure was good. we had rigourus training for 04 years for welding, machine shops and air conditioning.

Internships Opportunities

We had 06 months of internship period where we had exposure to industry experiences. the stipend was dependent on facility we were training with. College did not provide its student any internship stipend.

Placement Experience

4

Placement and job opportunities are good as it is renowned government college in state. it had a placement cell that takes care of the placement and facilitating the companies in the campus. Students were invoolved in it. Good brands like maruti, Adobe, IBM, ericent, Mahindra are among the companies that came for placement.

College Events

3.5

An inter college cultural fest was organized every year in the college for a period of three days in which colleges from around the district participated. it is a low key affair as the funds were minimal. A sports fest was also organized which were majorly intra college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is very reasonable being a government institute and even the hostel accommodation was also reasonably priced. the academic fees including hostel accommodation was around seventy thousand. also student could easily get student loans from government and private banks too.

Fees and Financial Aid

It had quite a few government run scholarships for minority students which ranged from giving laptops to these students to exemption in full tuition fees.

Campus Life

3

Campus life was enjoyable it is situated in the heart of the city so students can go anywhere any time without any worry the gender ration tilted heavily towards boys the thinking was conservative as the faculties mindset was such. Also student came from every corner of the state which consists of mostly village so mindset was simple and easy going.

Hostel Facilities

2

Hostel facility and mess facility was not good the hostels were tool old and required major revamp. Also the basic facility like water and sanitation was not upto the mark food was also not hygienic the mess lacked proper machines and infrastructure.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors were helpful but alumni network needs to be worked upon. It is a college which established in the nineteen seventeens so have a good base but the binding force is missing.

Exam Structure

We had three sessionals or monthly exams one mid term exam and one exam at the end of the semester as is a trend with engineering colleges. The labs exams were also a trend at the end and mid terms. At the end all scores were cumulatively added to get a CGPA which is a grading based system.

Admission

After clearing AIEEE had to go online selection through AIEEE. then had to physically go to college and submit required documents. The seat was occupied under my name. Then the scrutiny of the forms was done and the fees needed to be submitted to bank mentioned in their forms. The receipt challan of the payment was produced to the accounts officer where he verified the credentials.

Faculty

3

The old faculty was good but they were government officials so same red tapism was associated with the college the faculty which had professors ranging from mid 30s to mid 40s were very rude and boastful. the temporary teachers were shabby to say the least.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are offered with many companies visiting (700-800+). Highest packages can go high (Rs 30-56 LPA), but averages and typical offers vary (~ Rs 6-7 LPA), and placements rates differ by batch. Some students also pursue internships or off-campus jobs if campus offers are limited.

Placement Experience:

Four campus placements student get eligible after the 6th semester and from 6th semester companies come and they search for their Perfect suit And they just simply Conduct their interviews in the College campus Various companies visited our college like HCL,TCS and many more Offering a basic scale payoff around 6,00,000 Per year. Average package for our college is around three to six lakhs and the highest package a student got is around 54 lakhs Per year. For sitting in placement at least 6 cgpa is required to Get eligible for Placements But most of the companies ask for 7CGPA and above and only few companies are there which demand 6 cgpa students. My planes after getting this degree is Doing a job and then Lumping amount So that I can open up my business in the form of cafe or something else. But somewhere I will like to become nlp engineer As I have interest in sound processing system and AI and being from IT background I have good coding skills and communication skills. Till the age of 40 I Start my own business or a startup. At last but not least Our college has a good placement Drive system And a good academic system too and one can easily prepare for placements if he studies well.

Placement Experience:

From 2nd year onwards we can prepare for it as we are equipped with hands on experience on multiple projects and practical knowledge. Till now the highest package has reached 45 lakhs per annum. I don't think that percentage matters as practical knowledge is more superior that theory part. I am planning to go for MNCs.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not good in my college. Only few companies are recruiting through on campus like virtusa, tcs etc. average package is 3-4 lakhs and maximum package is 9 lakhs. From 4th year students are eligible for on campus placement. Only 30-40% of students get placed. I am thinking to give gate exam for better opportunity.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after 6th semester. Numerous reputed companies offer placements, to name a few, these are HCL, Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Wipro, Infosys, L & T, JCB, airtel, JIO, etc. The highest package to date is 27 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 6 lakhs per annum. About more than 85% of students get placed in good companies with a satisfactory package, however, good skills are required for a much higher package. I'll work hard to get a good package at a reputed company.
