Entrance Preview

I took VITEEE and scored a rank of about 12k. To be true, I opted for this college because it was the best I could get at that time. It definitely sounds disheartening but please I was very happy with the college and excited about my life ahead.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very extensive but effective. I'd give it a 6 on 10 just because the research projects were not enough. But the tests, the curriculum was definitely on par and standard. We even used to get different projects to work on which is always exciting.

Internships Opportunities

VIT does not have its own placement cell for providing you Internships. They do send emails that they get from different companies to recruit interested students as Interns. But there is no specific Cell in the college that takes care of your Internship Training. One more thing to keep in mind is that VIT encourages you to undergo an "Industrial" Internship.

About fests and all, I don't think you'll find a better place than VIT. VIT- RIVIERA is amongst the renowned fests of the country. with 4 days of shear fun. Whether or not u participate in the fest. On top of all these, there are like 200 student chapters and clubs all with different motto and focus. They hold a very transparent selection process if u want to become an integral part of these.

Fees and Financial Aid

An education Loan is the best option you go for while admission. The college also has a tie-up with a bank which helps you out instantly. Although I did not go to that bank many of my friends did. Scholarships are based on your VITEEE rank, check out the University's website for detailed information.

Admission

I was studying in Dhanbad when I got to know about VIT and its entrance examination specifically for that University. I got the form from the nearby Stationary shop and filled it up. After the results, I and my parents went for the counseling session which was held at Chennai and I opted for Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the Chennai branch of VIT.

Faculty

Faculty in any college is like the social situation of our nation India - Diverse. You get to see faculties like our PM - overly excited about teaching as well as their own research and some are like the lazy politicians who just how to get their job done. Although, here at VIT I found more faculties like our PM. They were helpful and had an interesting approach to teaching.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

My bad campus life

Likes

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

Likes

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

Placement is very excellent in this college. Nearly all eligibility students get placed every year. Many recruiters are recruiting their employees through this college. The minimum package is 3 lakh per annum.
