Remarks

I did apply for many colleges but i didn't got admission there due to my cet score i got the chance in Rajiv Gandhi college but they were asking for donations which i don't want to give then i got a chance for civil engineering in Thakur college but i want Computer Science so i rejected it.By government-aided i got Universal college so i visited the college and did the admission on the same day itself the college was giving admission mainly through government-aided but there are some institutional seat if you didn't got through government-aided.there was a 2 day counseling which they called orientation it was awesome we did many technical and non-technical activities understanding engineering and college life principal talked about how you can perform well like regular attending lectures, using the library, etc got the review from seniors, etc

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

i was having very much interest in computers there working from childhood and after 10th i met many computer engineers so my interest in IT was more so i chose computer science. In UCOE in class there are max 55 students and the faculty are well qualified and they have good teaching experience you won't need to go to classes if you attended the lectures in 1 semester there are 2 IAT the there is a gap of almost 2 months and the final exam is administered by Mumbai University if you attended all the lectures you will find the exam easy.

Internships Opportunities

1.5

There are some Campus internships i haven't heard for companies provided internships. You can get internships off-campus like from linkedin and Internshala. the college gave the project experience from hackathons and by Project-based learning.

Placement Experience

3.5

From 4th year the student becomes eligible for campus placements, there are various companies that visited like Flipkart, BYJUS, Mahindra, Jio, etc.The Highest packages is 10 lakhs. In Computer science, 90% of students get placed which were applicable for placements. my future plan is to learn more and gain more knowledge.

Fees and Financial Aid

in my case, the 2nd year fees was less than 1st year's fees the main chunk is tuition fees also there are many scholarships like EBC,TFWS,minority scholarship, etc which will reduce your 50% tuition fees. There are no on-campus job.

Campus Life

5

there are many fest you will enjoy like VYRO, Tantroutsav, JR.VYRO, Tahuko. Tahuko comes in navratri. There is a library you will get the books and journals there are many quantities of each book. The classroom is also good with a permanent big desk and chair also with good ventilation. there is a sports competition in the month of jan there are many clubs like the student council which is run by students. there are robotics events and training too.

Other Applied Colleges

Rajiv Gandhi | CS

As they were asking for donations and i don't accepted it

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. CIA like case studies, presentations, and assignments encourage hands on learning. However, in some programs, there is a still heavier focus on the theory, so students must actively seek extra learning resources
