All about Dr. RPCAU

This university follows the ICAR admission criteria. This university takes admission on the basis of the ICAR entrance exam. One must clear the ICAR exam in order to take admission to this University. You have a target within the Top 2000 rank to get this college in counselling. If you get selected in this university by the ICAR you have to report on the given date with all the documents. They will verify your documents once it gets done then there will be other formalities like fee payment, hostel allotment, medical checkup etc.

My course at this University is BTech Biotechnology. I have chosen this course because I am interested in research in Biological Science. As far as faculty to student ratio goes I think it's very good with around a 1:10 ratio. All faculties have done PHD and qualified NET exam. One good thing about This university is that you will get your degree on time. The semester Study system is being followed here. The difficulty level of the exam I would say is moderate.

University organises various agriculture-related training programs for students even people outside of university can also take part. Students can also opt for internships elsewhere like INSA, and another private sector.

Once you are in your final year then you are eligible for campus placement. Various agriculture sector related companies are offering placement to students with handsome salaries. I would go for higher education after getting my degree.

Since this is a central university Overall Courses fee is not high. So even students with low families can take admission. ICAR scholarship scheme like NTS, JRF, SRF is provided to eligible students. Although I dont get a scholarship because being from the same state where the university is situated I am not eligible for NTS. NTS is only for those students who belong to another state. I am still pursuing a UG course so yet to get on campus placement.

University conducts Annual Sports Meet among different college usually held in December month. Apart from this Youth fest, various competitions like drawing, singing, collab making, quiz etc are also organized by the university from time to time. The library is well equipped with thousands of renowned books, research papers, e-library. Students can take part in various sports like badminton, volleyball, cricket, table tennis etc.

In the hostel room, you will get a bed, table, chair. And a cupboard. For your stuff. If you are in UG then You have shared a room with 2 students while PG, PhD students get a seperate room. Mess facility will be there. And the quality of food will be average. One good thing about this university, the hostel is that the hostel facility is almost free. They will charge. Only around 500 rupees per semester. You will be alloted hostel room during admission.
