College is overall very good. but you have to work hard to get it there what position you want if you want to go into the research field this is the best place placements are always higher so you can go in that direction also.

I have cracked the GATE exam for getting into IIT Bombay. I have got AIR 230 in this exam in a civil engineering discipline.

I am in structural engineering in civil engineering. I am doing PG here in the first year we have to complete our course work in that is in the academics part after that in 2nd year we have to work on our research project. research project you can choose on your own in a research project you have come under on guide and have work according to his order he will give you some choices and you can choose one from them. you have to give your full one year for that topic.

Yes, the college provides internships also at the PG level. The PG students get a stipend of 12400 rs per month and Ph.D. get a stipend of 30000 per month. This will continue if you perform well in your academics if your performance is very bad in academics then your stipend will stop.

Jobs and placements opportunity is more and more increasing. Placements are also dependent upon your branch. if you have a branch-like CS IT Electronics then you get the highest package others have lesser than that but it is good you have to perform well in academics to ensure a good placement offer and also you have to work in some other extra curricular activity to get a good offer you can call any company to campus as you wish. and you can check their requirements and present yourself before them.

There are limitless events in the IIT Bombay. if you count it one by one, maybe it more than 100. the biggest cultural event in India is MOOD INDIGO. MI is celebrated in the month of December and the whole of India's students participated in it at MI various artists and celebrities and known personalities come into the college and share their ideas and experiences one of the main events is cultural night. the biggest and the brightest 2nd event is the TECHFEST, for technical, this is also biggest in its own in India. MST's brightest students of India participate in it.

The fee structure for M.tech is very simple. you have to pay fees in two installments 1st and 2nd. ist installment is about 30000 and 2nd is about 25000. the fees of PG level courses are lesser than that of UG level courses every student of SC and ST category is free from any fees mainly tuition fee the much you get in these small fees is up to the student. you have highly qualified teachers and labs and other research students but we depend upon you.

So many scholarships are available at both Ug and Pg level. PG students Get a monthly scholarship. and UG students also got scholarships according to their performance in the exam and academic level many scholarships are based also on your family's financial status.

The gender ratio is very less. Girls are in less number than the boys as usual but now iits have reserved some seats for girls in each branch. Sports- name any sport it is available in IIT-Bombay. You just require the internal vibes for playing, there are so many sports in the college.

The hostel facility is good there are 18 hostels. 14 for boys and 4 for girls. The rooms are in good condition. Rooms were cleaned regularly and the atmosphere is also good each hostel has its own mess. mess have food times. breakfast lunch tiffin and dinner. They give you so much food that sometimes you can't eat full mess have mess secretary among the student who ensure that the quality of food is good you can complain to him.

Alumni ass. is a very strong point about IIT Bombay. it supports is students in all the senses. They also provide study material to you they also give loans to you if you require them. Placements are strong because of alumni.

Exams total marks divided into two groups. Mindset exams and end sem exams. some instructors also take takes quizzes and assignments. and they also count this in the total marks final marking is a relative grading system. In which the grads are like AA AB BB BC CC CD DD. these grades will be awarded according to the performance. The research days are quite hectic and you have to work very hard to find a good position in the class.

After getting an AIR 230 rank, We have to appear for a written exam and then some students got selected for the interviews if you cracked the interview then you got selected in that specifications at PG level. Then you have a choice if you want to switch from one to another if you have got two offers.

Faculties are highly qualified as they are in IIT the much difficult to get into an iit for a student, for faculty is also the same most of them had done their MS and Ph.D. from foreign universities. and done some tremendous research work the faculties were always doing their work because they were always contributing towards the nation. They are very ambitious and also want their students to so. I always appreciate them for their work.
