Remarks

Overall as a small town boy, i had a very learning experience there personally and professionally. Yes there has been some glitches but we don't live in an ideal world and we should not expect it to be that.

Entrance Preview

I took MAT and scored 97 percentile. I was very clear about the electives i wanted to take for MBA and this college offered the PGDM in Operations management, and had a good national ranking. So i chose it.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

Course structure is very good and it keeps on updated on the basis of current trends in the corporate world which shows the focus on research as well. Apart from it they have visiting faculties from wide range of industry visiting college more often which helps students to understand what currently going in corporate world.

Internships Opportunities

Yes it does. The internship process here is quite different from others. They have internship at the end of the course which most of the time gets converted into final employment offer. My experience in internship was quite good as well as i had the opportunity to work in high performance label industry which is not something we see commonly. ample learning opportunity and kind of different experience altogether.

Placement Experience

2

I myself was member of the T&P office of the college. Almost all the students got placement at the end of the curriculum with good employment offer. Some of them bagging multiple offers from different employers. Companies like naukri.com, UCO bank, IBM, Target, IDBI bank, Vijaya bank and many more visited the college premises for campus placement. The highest package for 2009-11 batch was 11 LPA and an average package was 4.5 LPA. Considering 2008 financial crises i think these are preety good number and we had good placements that year.

College Events

2

We had many events celebration at the college right from Management festivals, cultural program, technical festival, annual festival, CSR events, fund raising events and the graduation party. As fun as it sounds they were big in terms of participation quality of crowd and the hosts that college invite for these events. Even on the graduation day we have been awarded degrees by the most elite people from corporate, politics etc. One such name would be Kiran Bedi who visited our college for graduation day of 2008-10 batch.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was feasible while i took the admission, to quote the exact amount it was 6 lakhs for the 2 yrs PGDM program (excluding the hostel fee).

Fees and Financial Aid

The college has tie ups with reputed banks in the country and they do have some scholarship program also running. Please contact the administrator for more details on this.

Campus Life

1.5

Gender ratio was quite balanced. Student parties is a regular thing there. They have quite good workshop for gender, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, politics and economic status.

Alumni/Alumna

To be very honest at that time the interaction with our senior was not that good. But in recent days i have seen numerous initiative coming from the college to build and reconnect the alumni of the college through organizing various events formal or personal. And also the events on various festivals celebrated acorss the country.

Exam Structure

They have trimester examination pattern that the college follows and students are judge on relative grading basis. As they have trimester examinations, so sometimes it becomes hectic but again very learning experience. Labs are part of the curriculum and also it depends on what subjects/elctives you choose at the start of the trimester.

Admission

Notification came around march 2009, i procured the form from college premises. I participated in the GDPI held at the college premises very next day and cleared it. The administration was more than supportive, they guided all the participants during and after the selection process and were very polite in behavior.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college are good for marketing specialization. Compared to other specializations, from semester 2 itself, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Bank visit the campus. The highest package this year was 40 LPA, and the average package is around 6.5 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is 70% for now. After getting the degree, selection in a good company is my plan.

Placement Experience:

The average package offered is moderate and there are limited opportunities for high paying roles compared to top tier colleges. Companies that visit the campus are mostly small to mid sized organizations. The placement cell is very supportive and conduct training sessions such as aptitude tests, mock interviews and soft skills development to prepare students for placements.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.
