Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

As this college is affiliated to Mumbai University, we have course curriculum according to them. The course structure is good (average). Important projects and research activities are also given. Due to this the student's practical activities increases.

Internships Opportunities

College does not provide internships, students have to go to different companies and ask for internship on there own and a letter is given by the college to admit that particular student for internship in that company/industry.

Placement Experience

3

The placements and jobs are so far good and increasing year by year. Our college is trying 100% placement and hope so they succeed in that. Companies like HP, Reliance, Bombay dyeing, HIL, TCS, L&T, Siemens and many other industries are approaching our college and their minimum package starts from 3-4 Lakhs per year.

College Events

2

We have mini project competitions, Robotics competitions, quiz competitions department wise and one big cultural event - Abhiyaan every year in which students get a platform to show there different talents and explore themselves. The cultural event is during even sems and it goes on for like 1 week. It also contains sport competitions.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is around 1 lakhs for open category 50000 for Obc 15000-16000 for Sc/St the fee structure is based on Mumbai University the fee structure is quite expensive, extra money is also taken from each student for activities like quiz competition and ganpati chanda.

Campus Life

2

The gender ratio is quite stable. The crowd is very nice although in my case the male friends are very nice, friendly and helpful although ladies have some ego and attitude problems and they are not as helpful as boys. Most of the students are from marathi background, local students are also there.

Hostel Facilities

2

Hostels rooms are very nice and hygiene, there are total 2 buildings. One hostel building for girls hostel and other for boys. The mess food is not that good. The mess food is sometimes spoiled and smelly. The fees structure are based on Mumbai University.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are helpful. They help you in many activities and if you have any doubt you can easily ask them. Again male seniors are very nice and helpful but girls have attitude problems here. It helped me alot to learn from seniors, they help you in your projects and studies.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is based on Mumbai University. We have 2 semester exams for each year including 4 unit test, 2 unit tests for each semester. We also have vivas as well as practical exams before each semester exam, (submissions included). The exam structure is quite hectic.

Admission

It is affiliated to Mumbai University hence I got admission through online cap round process, there are total 3 cap rounds. I got my admission through merit on 2nd cap round. The administration in quite ok. They helped in the process of admission and solved my important doubts.

Faculty

3

All the faculty members in this college are well qualified. The minimum criteria of education for a professor is ME in there particular branch, although some of the faculty members are also PhD holders and many are pursuing PhD. The faculty members help alot in doubts and studies, they also give books and notes to the students who need them.
