I took AIEEE exam and scored 153 marks and I opted to this college because it was best in my town. Admission process was conducted by the Central Board of Education. I was selected according to my marks and was admitted to the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
It was basic curriculum circulated by all colleges of engineering in India. Although there were huge collection of books and research papers in college library, the curriculum's main focus on obtaining the degree. Also most of the times the students would just mug up the Q&A to pass the exam and understand nothing.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, but only for students who are pursuing the post-graduate degree. They would let students to teach the juniors as the Lab Assistant. The stipend was from 8,000 to 10,000 rupees per month. I did not applied for internship, overheard from the M-Tech students that it was a good experience.
Placement Experience
Our college is mostly known for placements & job opportunities. Many prominent tech giants would come to our college seeking employees. We also held the record to provide most of the students with placements. In 2015 36 IT companies and 31 Core Companies came to our college which took 1438 candidates.
College Events
In first year we had Freshers Party accompanied with Farewell for seniors. In second year we were dissected into different courses which had Installation events held by every branches. Then we had special events conducted by every branch over the year. Every year we had cultural event of 7 days called "Pratishruti" and a sports event.
Fees and Financial Aid
I did not availed or have good knowledge about scholarship / loan facility offered by my college. So it's better i don't any review about it.
Campus Life
Campus life was awesome we had a vast area where we could hangout. We frequently arranged a party in canteen area or the hostel rooms. I never experienced any kind tolerance even though we had diversified gender, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, politics and economic status. Our college was highly happening place.
Alumni/Alumna
College seniors were highly helpful as we had good connection with them. The first year students had to introduce themselves to seniors. This made first interaction and healthy relations with seniors.
Exam Structure
We had semester pattern from first year itself. One semester was accompanied with two tests for internal marks. So the exams would be frequent but ample amount of chances were given i.e. two make up exams if the students fails in a semester. And since the syllabus was divided it was not too hectic.
Admission
There was Management Quota round held by the College itself for the reserved seats held by college. It was prior to the CAP Round Procedure. I was sure that I will get admission through CAP round so I did not participate in Management Quota round. CAP round was an online procedure where we had to prioritize our options for college. Then you were selected according to your marks.
Faculty
The faculty was highly qualified and interested in their own expertise. Most of them were doctorates and laureates of there subjects. They would be friendly most of the times and ready to answer all the questions asked by us. Our college was known for the quality of faculty we had.
