I took IIT JEE and BITSAT-2014. Although, i cleared both the exams with decent scores. I opted for BITS because of its policies and also i was able to get the desired stream of study in this college. I scored 317 in BITSAT 2014. This college is a part of one of the reputed colleges of India and as it sounds its worth studying here, which was one of the deciding factors for me.

The course curriculum is excellent here. It is at par international standards. The books followed here are of reputed international writers and the curriculum is good enough to impart good knowledge of the given stream. I personally find the curriculum quite concise.

Yes, and extensively. Stipend vary from 10,000 to 1.5 lakhs per month. There are companies like Nutanix, Nvidia, Microsoft, Texas Instruments, Amazon which give good stipend to deserving candidates. A lot of small companies also come which provide decent stipend ranging from 10k to 30k.

This is the strongest point of this college. Every year, more than 90% students are placed via placement division. A lot of PPOs are also offered when students go for internships which has been provided by college under a scheme called Practise School. The offers were quite amazing ranging from 15 lakhs to 30 lakhs per annum for dream companies and an average of about 6-7 lakhs for general profiles.

The fees structure may appear huge at first sight, but its worth. The total tuition fee per semester is nearby 1,10,000 currently, while adding all the whole fees including hostel, mess electricity sums to 1,40,000(nearly). But in exchange facilities which are provided are over whelming.

Yes, first i will talk about scholarship. Three types of scholarship are being provided by the college.Merit scholarship- It goes to top 1 % of the students per batch (Varying from 40% to 80% discount in tuition fees). Merit cum need scholarship- It goes to all students whose CGPA is above 6 and their family income is less than a value decide by the college.It ranges from (25% to 80% of tuition fees.

This college's alumni is one of the best network in the world. They exist literally everywhere in the world. And when it comes to help, they are ready for everything in any corner of the world. From placement guidance sessions to helping in higher education admit , they are everywhere. Thus, no doubt the alumni is strongly connected and is having a robust and helping network.

Exams are conducted in 3 parts per semester. Test-1, Test-2 and final comprehensive examinations. Equally distributed syllabus comes in all exams. They are neither hectic nor easy. The first two exams are of 1 hour duration and the last one which cover whole syllabus is of 3 hours.

I wrote BITSAT 2014, which is the entrance exam for BITS Pilani Indian campuses. I got a good score in that and i was allowed to fill preferences for my stream. By choice, i opted for mechanical in Pilani campus and hyderabad campus. And, i got hyderabad campus. Later on , we were supposed to report campus in the end of july, 2014. There started the admission procedure of the same.

Faculty is the success root of the college. And, here at BITS, they are no less than any other institutions in India. They posses good research experience. They work on a lot of current areas and also have patents. Academic wise they are ready to help students anytime. Thus faculty here is quite supporting and talented.
