Remarks

I did not apply for any other college, because I wanted to get into this university alone. since I had scored more than the cut off I was confident in getting my admission. In order to get into the university you need a minimum of 71%, apart from that you are expected to meet the cut-off released by the university. The admission process was not tedious, you shall receive the call letter days prior to the counseling. I was selected in the first counseling and they scrutinized the given documents.

I honestly did not want to get into any arts college, this being a professional course caught my attention. There are faculty members who are permanent and contractual, all are Ph.D. qualified; as far as law subjects are concerned, they are of a high standard, but when it comes to intermediary subjects, they may not be up to the mark. Each professor has his/her own way of approaching the subject which is quite impressive and interesting. Exam is conducted as usual and informed well in advance, passing would not be an issue but scoring high marks is not really possible.

Fees and Financial Aid

Since this is a government-affiliated university, fees would not be a problem, but when it comes to books, we really need to spend on it as they are useful in the long run. The college also provides library facilities which has all the prescribed books and elibrary is an add on to many. The college provides scholarship for substandard students based on community.

Campus Life

A major drawback of this college is that they do not give much importance to cultural activities. But we have NCC, NSS, Sports club and cultural association. Tantra is our intra college fest conducted usually in March or April. There are unlimited books for all the subjects and AIR cafe is another advantage. The classrooms are air conditioned and well maintained, we also have sports events within our college, as mentioned earlier, we have to volunteer for everything and the college does not badger around.

The placement of my college is not great when compared to other national law university but still better than some private colleges. Companies such as Trilegal, Argus has visited our college to recruit students. Though I plan on pursuing judiciary.

Best Government Law college in Madurai

Remarks:

The Government Law College, Madurai is overall a good college. The infrastructure of the college is quite good. Faculty is also helping and skilled. This the best university for pursuing law compare to others only in this college we can get hobs degree ..here fees structure is High but here infrastructure is so good ..i didn't apply for any other college because I got selected in this course..the admission process of our college is to apply first for counsiling and you need above 90 percentage then only you got seat in this college and you have to come to college and need to submit the given forms and documents..there is no entrence exam for this college and no management quota..and anti ragging certificate is most important to join here .....Read More

Life in TNDALU

My college is an Government University. The education here is top notch and the main thing is in my college there is more exposure to practical experiences eather than just theory. Best University providing Law Couse with affordable fees

Eligibility for application is a minimum of 50%. But cut-off marks are expected from 80-98%. Application notification is officially published on the university website Andalou.in.
