Entrance Preview

IT JEE, I scored 71 marks out of 360. My neighbour was a pass out from this college and all he told was if I get admission in this college, I should go for it.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

What I feel is the course is a bit outdated with more focus on theory rather than practical approach. But I also feel that we get to learn a lot about our course and although there is no harm in theoretical approach, I prefer more practical approach. Otherwise I think the course curriculum is good for students based on their future.

Internships Opportunities

Yes my college provides internship. But as I'm a junior as of now, I don't have that much knowledge about the stipend but according to my seniors the overall experience was great.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement and job opportunities are great in my college. A lot of reputed companies such as TCS, Infosys, accenture, tech Mahendra and many more companies visit our campus. Placement percentage this year was quite good. More than 70% of our students got placed in various firms. For that you can refer our college's website.

College Events

4.5

We have our college festival surge(cultural festival) and score(sports festival), apart from that every respective committee has its own festival which is fun and knowledgeable to attend to. Various committees in our college are - IEEE, CSI, IEI, ISTE, IETE, Robotics and robocon.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of our college is just like any other in Mumbai university. It's around 1 Lac per year. But you can apply for scholarships and tuition fee waiver scheme(TFWS), under which you can get your tuition fee waived off depending on your performance in academics and extra curriculum.

Campus Life

3.5

As everyone there is to young, so campus life is fun. I have not experienced any kind of racism regarding ethnicity, race, colour of my skin, etc. The gender ratio like in most engineering colleges is boy : girl as 3:1. Our college organises workshops for various courses. You can also request authorities on a workshop you would like to have.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Our college unlike other college in Mumbai university has the facility of hostel. From what I have heard is that the rooms are well maintained, facilities are available, there is 2 students per room scheme(so that you don't get much load).

Exam Structure

The exam structure of our college is appreciable. We have two internal assessments every semester followed by practical exams and in the end we have semester exams. No, they were not that frequent and neither chilled out, it was a mixture of both. The labs are well maintained and the staff is helpful too.

Admission

I applied for J&K migrant quota for which I was eligible, I had to submit my following documents - 1.IIT JEE scorecard, 2. 12th Marksheet, 3. Proof of J&K migrant. After submitting these documents, I was eligible for admission based on merit. Each student was given a number for his score and on basis if that, we were allowed to pick Course and college from available colleges.

Faculty

4.5

The faculties of my college are good. They make an environment of studies plus enjoy. They are very approachable regarding everything, be it studies or extra curriculum or anything. Their knowledge on respective subjects is also good and are able to solve my doubts whenever I ask them.
