Entrance Preview

MHT-CET, score-120 marks. I preferred this college because it had lowest fees structure in Pune university and good campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course curriculum is being decided by the Savitribai Phule Pune university and circulated through all colleges. Our college also followed it. We had 40 lectures of each subjects through the semester. There were two unit tests and one final test before the university examination. Focus on research was only available for Fourth year students as they had to prepare a project based on research and innovation.

Internships Opportunities

Our college did provide internship to students but the problem was that students had to find companies on their own references or talent and college didn't pay any stipend neither the companies did. Students did internship for free for sake of experience and practical knowledge.

Placement Experience

1.5

Placements and job opportunities were very poor. Students expected more companies. Our college failed in bringing companies for Civil Engineering. At our time, there were no company for placement. All we had to do is on our own. There were few companies for Computer, IT, EnTC and Mechanical Engineering. Companies were Thermax, Piagio, Bharat forge, and some other.

College Events

2.5

At our times in our college, we celebrated many events starting from 1st day of college till last day. 1.Freshers party for new students, Dindi-Cultural program (Road show plus 15 mins Drama), Gathering , Food festivals, Teachers day, Engineers day by making models of innovations in respective branch of engineering.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure was very feasible compared to others colleges. One of the very good college regarding fees structure. I had paid Rs 47150 per year approximately and was one the cheapest college with very good facilities. We had hostel and mess facility available too. Rs 12000 per annum for hostel and Rs 15000 per annum for mess.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network was poor. They started connecting the alumni after we passed out from college. But for me and our batch, help from seniors or alumni was very less or poor.

Exam Structure

Exam structure was of two types. One is 80 marks written University Exam and other is 20 marks for Oral or Practical Exam. But before that through out semester there were Two unit tests and one preliminary test before final University Exam. Oral and practical marks were given based on overall performance of students in Unit tests, attendance, etc.

Admission

I took admission through management quota though I didn't had to pay any money for that. They have policy of zero rupees management quota based on marks completely. That have 12 seats for management quota for every branch of engineering. They are filled purely on the basis of merit.

Faculty

3

Faculty of the college was overall good. But VPCOE, Baramati lacked the Human resource. Teachers were good but they didn't have faculty who were masters in particular subjects. The depth of subject of faculty wasn't enough. Faculty included very number of teachers who were Ph.D holders.

I think I toke this course because of furniture design which they also provide to which loved. They real toke note that they teach us which is related to real world applications more than only reading book's.I don't think they want any improvement because they are more experienced than us I also liked their teaching way. They also keep seminar where expert interiors and architecture comes and share there experiences.
