Remarks
The process was a bit hectic due to the covid norms and restrictions. We were given admission strictly on the basis of our MHTCET ranks. I was allotted a seat from my NTC category. There were two state-level rounds for the admission process. Also, there was an institutional spot round conducted for filling the remaining admissions.
Course Curriculum Overview
Each semester consists of 4 months. After 2 months from the start of the semester, we had to give a mid-semester test which was quite easy to score though the difficulty was moderate as it was 20 marks and the syllabus was just 2 units for each subject. Then just after 2 months from MST, we had to give end semester examination consisting of 60 marks and covering 4 units of the syllabus. The papers were lengthy to complete and thus required detailed study to pass.
Internships Opportunities
Basic projects for a Computer Engineering student from the placement point of view are just all the programming languages and their basics required in competitive programming. Many internships are provided free of cost by the vast alumni network of the college.
Placement Experience
My college is a reputed government college. So I will get a luxurious package from the campus placement which will fulfill my dreams and ambitions. Many top companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Texas hire a large number of students with heavy packages from our institute.
Fees and Financial Aid
I received the Post Matric Scholarship for VJNT students according to my category. So my fees were reduced by 15000 with the help of this Scholarship. I also received a Scholarship named financial assistance to meritorious students which gave rs 10000 per year.
Campus Life
VJTI has a variety of clubs for social, academic, and sports activities. They include Technovanza for tech events and competitions, Society of Robotics and Automation for Robotics enthusiasts, Enthusia club for sportspersons, and many many more.
