Liked the branch and this was my last option to select .Also there is very good placement scenario. And the bad aspect is that after taking admission i get to know that most of the companies arrived for the placements are from IT sector no companies regarding vlsi branch .
Course Curriculum Overview
I have selected because i am from electrical background . Ratio is 3:1. Facultt are okay in one sem , two unit exams and a final semester exam . Yes it is moderate paper some subject are good , some are difficult
Internships Opportunities
No i havnt opted but most of the cs backgroud students opted for summer internship in there last years .
Placement Experience
In last sem , any student can sit for placemnts. Only IT companies offeres here like tcs capgemini, delloite, pwc, amazon, manymore package goes till 15-20 lakh pa .profiles for developers only. About 85 %get placed . I got placed in capgemini . But the bad thing is that no company for vlsi domain .
Fee Structure And Facilities
Every year fees increases, for gate qualified , they give stipend in mtech for 12, 400 rs per month. If anyone have job during course ,they will not provide the stipend . Its a gov policy .phd students also gets stipend
Campus Life
Yes there is annula fest i.e aurora mostly held in feb .books recommended by teacher are available in library. All classrooms and labs are ac equipped. And lots of computers as it is IT college .there is sports complex and in that court room for most of the games . Grounds for outdoor games. Yes there are many groups and website too.
Hostel Facilities
Every one is need to have hostel room . Simgle room for single person. bed, table , chair , almirah are provided. Food quality is average . Sometimes good ,somedays bad . Yes the hostel and mess is affordable .20,000 for both for one sem.
