Well known research institute of India especially for chemical engineering students. To get a practical knowledge of research. To work with professional scientist and learn and accompanying them with there research.

Faculties were very cooperative and well qualified and well experienced.Their teaching was very good and was very friendly in nature with us.They offer 6 month, 1 year, 4 months internship course.Faculties were too much involved in the research field and experienced too.

No placement is offered after course.Only certificate is provided signed by director of CSIR-Indian Institute of Petroleum and respective guide and training officer.No placement but course is full of knowledge.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is too good in 250 acres of campus. Social life is too good all are very cooperative and friendly in nature.They have dispensary, clubs, etc in the campus.Campus is environment friendly having many trees in it.

Placement Experience:

HAL, Interglobe Aviation, and DRDO and others have made understanding with our university to take our students for giving us practical exposure. Now these are the same companies where our services will be hired and therefore as per placement standards packages of 50-60 thousand a month is what we will be paid.

Geu provides best intenrships!

Placement Experience:

In GEU placements are like such that we don't have to bother at all. We are approached by placements cell in the 5th semester and then are trained for the whole month and then university urges us to go for internships to have the required exposure and have a CV which can impress the recruiters first hand. Thus, we get placement which median as of now is 8.5 lakhs.

A big no for placements and a big yes for campus life

Entrance test for the programme is conduted based on the criteria that is above 60% admissions are provided. The professors of the university also conducts interviews before admissions in zoom. After all the process once the student clears the exam and interview admission is provided. I was enrolled in the university in the year 2018 as would say that I definetely wasted my 3 precious years and money offcourse. There were no placements also, just for small matters they send you from one person to other and for some university matters you will have to go other campus just for some signatures....Read More
